Onboard the Azura the service was impeccable, the crew were attentive and friendly who genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. The ship was clean and had a variety of things to do for entertainment. Shore excursions booked through P&O were well organised and informative. Zero complaints perfect holiday!

Just got back from a brilliant cruise on P&O Azura out of Malta and around the Med for two weeks, had a suite R405, which was really good but what really made it good was the staff and food, just booked anoither!

Had an excellent cruise on Azura visiting Corsica and Italy. Cabin R254 which we found excellent as positioned near lifts but no noise and not overlooked by any balcony. Food was good. Loved Ajaccio Other ports good. Did P&O trip to Capri on your own which was a lovely day. Entertainment was very good all main shows good they work very hard. Comedian Noel Brodie was also very good. Best cruise out of the 4 we have been on!

Our first cruise ever and we sailed on Arvia to the Norwegian Fjords so we were excited but a bit anxious of what to expect.
But wow it was fantastic!!!
We loved it and we will definitely be back for another.
The Fjords were stunning and The ship and cruising experience was FANTASTIC!!!!
The food was delicious and beautifully presented ( Zenith was our favorite restaurant ) and all the staff were amazing , thank you to all of them for their hard work.
Our cabin was perfect and peaceful,we had a standard balcony. The bed was so comfortable and we were surprised at how much storage space there was. Lovely en suite too.
The cabin staff were so efficient and helpful we stayed in room 12715.Thanks to all you guys who kept our cabin so clean and for the ice bucket we ordered everyday.
The choice of entertainment was amazing. We loved the Privateers in the Headliners club and Jo Little they were great!
Then on our last night we were in the Limelight club a delicious 3 course meal. With Mary Mac performing who was incredible, it was so enjoyable and she really funny and talented and the perfect way to spend our last night on Arvia.
I can’t mention everything as there so much to applaud. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and much quicker than expected. Lovely staff again!
Thank you it was just an amazing experience..

Ventura 12-26 September. Had high hopes for this holiday but ended up being a major let down. When we booked this holiday we were not told how dated the ship and activities were and we were not aware of it being targeted at people 65+. Our party is a 56 year old and a 15 year old and you can imagine how extremely bored one of us were. Wifi is slow and overpriced, games that require sufficient internet did not work so only about 4 games were playable. About a week in the ship had a repair tug attached to it and we couldn’t go out on the balcony due to it emitting black clouds which would be like inhaling cigarette smoke, noises from the ship also went on for a while that day and we couldn’t relax.

More things; the more the holiday progressed, the poorer the buffet food quality became. Night 3 had Jamaican jerk chicken and flavourful rice, day 13 had sloppy carbonara that was barely edible. Also “cheesecake” for dessert but just tasted like jelly with biscuit underneath it.

In the horizons it would often contain about 9 “talks” about jewellery, medicine for weight loss, perfume etc and it would just be for you to spend your money on board.

That doesn’t even cover all the problems we’ve had on this holiday. We are disembarking tomorrow thankfully but 4k for two weeks of boredom and homesickness is truly disappointing. You’ll never hear the words “we’re going on a P&O cruise” out of our mouths ever again. Relieved we are going home tomorrow.

Excellent cruise from start to finish. All crew highly professional, courteous and efficient. Can't praise them enough. Jacob and team in Peninsular Restaurant worthy of special mention for guiding me and my low carb/low sugar dietary needs.

I'd never taken a cruise before, or any 'packaged' style holiday come to that. Didn't think I was the type, or old enough! Turns out I am the type and plenty old enough ;-)
I was so impressed by the smooth organisation of everything, it was effortless and relaxing. The highlight for me was the attention given to my Gluten Free requirements. Anyone with a serious allergy knows the anxious feeling of dining out and all the associated problems and pitfalls. The first question from the waiters every night was 'any food allergies'? I was always very satisfied with the Gluten-Free options on the menu, but it was always explained that most dishes can be adapted. They will give you tomorrows menu in advance for you to make your selection and the kitchens to prepare. Dining was a carefree joy for me, what a pleasant change that was! Well done to P&O and the wonderful staff.
I must say, I didn't expect such a high standard of entertainment either, so praise to all the performers and musicians. First hesitant cruise experience for me, I usually plan my own, slightly more adventurous trips, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. The Duty Free shopping was mostly quite pricey. That's the only potential negative I can think of but I wasn't there to shop. Formal evening was really nice, good to see people dressing up, more of this please. Great staff, lovely people to meet, On the whole it was a great experience.

Iona a Beautiful ship, easy holiday. All staff amazing and the food is the best

We had always planned to visit the Fjords but never got round to doing it, how much I regret that decission now. We went on several organised trips and enjoyed everyone. Loved Olden and their unique sailaway which reduced me to tears. The scenery is exceptional, we encountered every sort of weather except thunder. Booking again and bringing family with us next time.

Iona cruise to Norway. Stress free holiday. Can honestly say first ever holiday that I totally relaxed for the duration. The staff are fantastic and can never do enough for you. Great food and drink with some great venues on board. Norway what a fantastic country and people.

Went on Brittania for a Baltic Cruise. It was truly excellent - no complaints at all. Full marks to the staff and all levels of service.

Great 1st time experience on Arvia, choose a Norwegian Fjords in early September and not disappointed, had an inside cabin which served us well, other than sleeping we spent less than 2 hrs a day in our cabin mostly getting ready to enjoy the day or evening, choice of dining was superb, I recommend experiencing more than just the buffet, although good it didn’t match the rest of the dining options in the sense of feeling special or a feeling of we are cruising, Bars I would highly recommend the Crow Nest bar for sail away have great views of epic sentry. Do an additional charge restaurant such as Limelight, Epicurean as these are superb nights and food.
Ship was clean and with plenty of crew maintaining that cleanliness where your cabin, inside or outside public areas. Crew were polite, friendly and professional can’t fault them.
Cabin, clean plenty of space for cloths and clean, would I upgrade to a balcony? Not sure I would, unless you intend to spend time in the cabin. Spend what you save on a longer cruise, experiences or just spend less, the outside bars & spaces don’t differentiate between cabin type and a balcony is no use to you sat in a hot tube or pool 😁

Excellent ship, staff, entertainment, shore experiences and food. Everything ran smoothly and was well organised.

Having paid nearly £3,400 for a single Traveller for a 2 week Cruise in July 2027. I asked to move 600 yards to Midship or Aft identical cabin. No problem just another £180!!!!!!! Having sailed with P & O since the 70’s THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever! Sharp Practice for a start charging the prices for single people & then THIS!! I will not be travelling with them again. Extremely disappointed in LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE

Balcony room was small but very cosey and comfy.
Cabin stewart was great (Jason)

This little gem of a ship is a must for every one (adult only)

We recently returned from a cruise to France and Spain on P&O’s Ventura. Although it was our first time on this particular ship, we’ve sailed on several larger ships before. We were a little apprehensive at first, as we were travelling with four grandchildren under the age of ten and weren’t sure whether there would be enough to keep them entertained during sea days.

We needn’t have worried. The ship was absolutely fantastic, and in truth, we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted. The children were constantly busy, happy, and well‑catered for.

The Main Dining Room was a real highlight. Both the service and the food were excellent, and our fixed dining time of 6:30 worked perfectly for the children. It also meant we could comfortably make the evening shows afterwards. The staff throughout the ship were amongst the friendliest we’ve ever encountered on any cruise.

Our cabin was spotless all week thanks to our steward, and embarkation was the quickest we’ve ever experienced. Disembarkation was even faster. Shore days were equally smooth—getting on and off the ship at each port was extremely well organised, easily the best we’ve seen.

We did have one minor issue onboard, which we attempted to resolve with reception. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fully addressed at the time, and we’re still awaiting a response to our follow‑up email. While disappointing, it didn’t overshadow what was otherwise an exceptional holiday.

Ventura may be described by some as an older ship, but that certainly isn’t the feeling you get once onboard. She’s well‑maintained, spotlessly clean, and offers plenty to do. The shows were great, the bars and restaurants were well staffed, and we never struggled to find seating anywhere.

Overall, it was a fantastic cruise with great service, and Ventura is a ship I would happily recommend to both couples and families. We already can’t wait for our next two cruises—this time on Arvia.

Just returned from a week onboard Arvia (our 3rd trip on Arvia!) to Norway. As always no complaints, the food, service, cleanliness were perfect. The staff are friendly and work tirelessly. The restaurants were clean, food was of a high standard and service was great. The itinerary, shore excursions and port days were well planned and plenty to do ashore. The entertainment as always was great, plenty to do throughout sea days and in the evening. Whilst on board we booked our next cruise
