Ordered phones from PMC Techlife on 30 December, delivery was promised in 5 to 10 business days. It is 13 January, still no delivery. Stock was imported (stated local stock when ordered) cost of import added to my yearly allowance, now courier wants VAT payment.
Impossible to speak to a consultant.
Company acted in bad faith, will never recommend.

I ordered OnePlus Ace 3v from PMC in April. I was told 2 to 4 weeks shipment, which I understood. When the four weeks came, only then did they start asking if I was fine with the spec and I will be willing to pay custom duties. I was desperate for the phone as I was buying it for testing, I accepted. a week later, I got another question about my address, which gave me hope. Then the week I thought I should be expecting the phone, they messaged me asking if I am okay with the Chinese version, which I declined. Then it was another question, after which I decided to cancel the order, the weekly questions were just delaying tactics. To date I am still waiting for my refund. Be careful, this site is a scam.

I ordered a Ulefone cellphone off their website , they clearly stated Free Shipping yet when the item arrived the courier requested customs duties in order to proceed , which amounted to 30% on top of the original purchase cost , Their advertising is totally misleading and not to be trusted , i could have bought the same phone from Rugged SA at a cheaper delivered cost given the customs duties added on. My advice is to purchase elsewhere.

I will never again buy anything from this company. They are misleading potential buyers in my opinion. They state on their website their address to return products to is in Durban. However - when I had to return a product I was given instructions to post it to HONG KONG on my own expense.

Bought a phone case, they use yanwen logistics that is super super slow. 23 days in transit and still not left china. Emailed them, say i must be patient meanwhile their website gives days to be delivered. Not happy at all. Even buffalo logistics that is the courier in south africa booked the number but cant give answers.

Terrible Experience. I had communicated with them that I had a store opening and urgently required prong stoppers. They proceeded to advise on an option which they had in stock. I then later was made aware (through an Aramex bill), that they were still to be imported from China and I would not only have to wait, but to pay import duties, even considering they sell the goods at a landed ZAR cost. We proceeded to pay the duties, but then could not open the prong stoppers. They then advised that we need to purchase a magnet from their online store to open the prong stopper, bearing in mind this was not communicated on their sales page. In totality, a shocking experience, poor communication and no accountability. We are a jewellery brand with stores around SA and definitely will NOT be purchasing from them again.

Stay away from this company. I ordered a phone from them. Their prices look great in comparison. Guess what, they do NOT clearly state on the order page you will pay extra import duty fees. I had to pay an extra R1000 on my order. They even state on their website "no hidden fees". They also state that delivery takes longer since they do a "rigorous quality check". The product never even reached them, the courier contacted me directly to pay the import tax. They lie by omission to get a quick sale. They will never see me again.

I bought a pair of adjustable reading glasses, the BIGGEST LOAD OF CRAP, they are of the worst quality ever, they are typical CHINESE RUBBISH, they don't even focus properly at any setting, Please don't waste your money, hopefully I can return them, R280 for a pensioner, PATHETIC, GRRR

Scam! Fraud! Don't ever buy from this.

I don’t recommend them at all I bought a lcd from them it arrived damaged it was very very faulty and the display and I ask for a refund provided proof of the defective product they said that they needed to get approval from the warehouse still nothing. This has been going on since the 18 of may and I want my refund i spent R1100 on this screen so it’s a lot. Oh yes and delivery took about 3 weeks to arrive and please the address is a return address so they not based in Durban they are based in China they are drop shippers

I bought a Ulefone Armour 24 phone through this company just over 5 months ago, this is a rugged phone, meant to be the toughest. Now the cover of the phone is peeling off. I have been trying to get assistance to have it fixed as the phone is still under warranty, the company is not helping, I have been sent from pillar to post, and for two months there is not clear progress on how to get the phone fixed.

I'm so sorry that I never checked Hello Peter OR Trust Pilot before purchasing from them. What a terrible experience and a waste of money. I ordered 2 wrist bands (one black and one white) for my Polar A360. The actual workings of the watch are in a rectangular black face so you basically pop it into one watch strap and then to change straps you pop it into another one. The only problem is that that the A360 Polar does not fit into the hole which is left for the watch to fit into and it literally just pops out as soon as you try and put it on your arm. They said they would refund me so I chose the option of DEFECTIVE which they both were. I get a response saying that I put in a reason of CHANGE OF MIND. I sent my request 3 times to them saying that it was DEFECTIVE and 3 times they emailed me back to say that I CHANGED MY MIND and will not refund me. Personally, I think that I wasn't talking to a person - I think it was a BOT. So, I lost R450 and had to buy another strap because I needed it desperately for R500. It arrived this morning and because it's a genuine Polar strap it works. STEER CLEAR of PMC.

Stay away!!!! Have been waiting since 13 December 2023 for a refund. They are giving all sorts of excuses. Their website also do not comply with the conditions of the South African Consumer Protection Act. Had to open a case in the Small Claims Court to try and get my money back. Case is on the role for 21 March 2023.

I ordered watch straps from PMC Jewellery. Confirmation e-mail came within minutes. I forgot to add my cell number and mailed them. Had response from support team within 15 minutes. I could track my package on the link from day one. Products came from Main land China. I received it within 6 working days. Courier service was great. Very good experience.
