Total rip off.

Total rip off.
£120 call out fee with girl on phone saying 9/10 they can fix with rod or plunger.
Bloke arrived, ran taps and said he’d need to use the wet vac and probably take sides of bath. Rubbish.
His mate turns up and says 9/10 wet vac sorts problem.
Pm247 then call and tell me the total cost will be £425!! And I needed to pay now before anything was done. Also saying he didn’t think the wet vac would work as it rarely does…??!
I tell him to tell his guys to leave as not going to be ripped off like that and won’t be paying call out charge given how it was initially positioned.
Long story short, I ended up paying £250 cash, and the wet vac sucked the hair out immediately.
Total chancers and I reckon most people fall for it.

Do not use this outfit

Do not use this outfit. The first offer of same day service didn't happen due to a delay on a previous call which seemed acceptable although I had to chase to find out where the engineer was! Next day's two hour window of 3-5pm was clarified by a call at 2.15 saying expect him 3.30-4, surprise surprise at 4.11 I called to be told he's on his way in 15 minutes. I rang at 5.06 to CANCEL and he turned up 5 minutes later. Against my better judgement we let him loose on the blockage.
Guess what, he needed to jet the drains and needed to ring the office to find out how much extra above £120+ Vat ie £144 they would charge. The pleasant engineer needs to find a job with a respectable company who trade with decent ethics.
We told him "no" and within minutes they called to take payment (note no paperwork or payment by credit card)
We paid £144 to establish we have a blockage which was why we rang them in the first place! Lesson learned we will stick with Dynorod and hope the engineer jumps ship!

I just needed a service as my boiler…

I just needed a service as my boiler seemed okay. Within 24 hours an engineer was at my door he had phoned before hand to let me know he was.on his way. This is not the type of efficiency I am used to I was so very pleased with the engineer friendly I felt he knew what he was doing and I could trust him to do a good job

Do not trust these guys

Do not trust these guys, they are sharks. I booked a service and within 5mins cancelled as I found another plumber to come out locally who was recommended. I called back to cancel and was advised that a cancellation fee was payable of £90. At no time when the booking was made that I was advised of a cancellation fee and when I stated this she said I hadn't given her a chance to send the T&Cs yet which explained the cancellation terms. She said it would be escalated to debt collection as I refused to pay a cancellation charge when legally a contract had not been entered into and the cancellation terms were not explained at the time the booking was made. I can understand why their ratings are so poor on here and should have looked at these before booking but in an emergency situation you just want to get things fixed!

Great service

Engineer arrived when agreed, was polite and did a professional job.
Not perhaps the cheapest around but considering it was 5pm on Sunday I was pleased to get my drain unblocked. Would use again.

Swift response and performed swift and tidy job.

Response to initial phone call was swift and the engineer arrived quickly to clear blocked drain. Harry was polite and helpful and dealt with difficult to move pipe and drain cover efficiently. Unfortunately the blockage needed machine to shift it but this was done swiftly. Not a cheap job but I didn't get other quotes so cannot compare. Would use again.

Excellent Service all round not the price

Made the call and the engineer was there within an hour, engineer was very knowledgeable and explained everything before hand and completed the job very successfully. However, I would like to mention that the price is exorbitant, just to clear a block.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Disgusting company. Say they will escalate things and just use the same bloke on all responses.
Charge an absolute fortune and in our case, don’t even fix the problem, causing us to fork out for another plumber to fix the problem. Tell us to complain to the customer service, customer service is one bloke who closes the case every email. AVOID AVOID AVOID SCAMMERS

Poor customer service

Following an initial review, was told to contact customer care (publicly) in order for them to investigate. Have attempted to do so and have subsequently been ignored. Now escalating to small claims court.

Recent repair to my toilet

The plumber arrived promptly & identified the problem quickly.
The plumber was polite & explained what he needed to do.
The only downside was the cost -it was expensive

Daylight Robbery

Charged £594 to unblock an exterior soil pipe.

Paid an initial unrefundable £214 for the plumber to spend a large chunk of the allocated hour searching in his van for tools he didn't have.

After a spot of bodgery, bullshit, and a pat on the back, I was then told to pay extra or remain out-of-pocket and in-the-shit.

An immediate money transfer permitted the use of a jet washer, which promptly cleared the blockage.

The job would have taken less than 10 minutes had the jet washer been used initially. The manhole cover had already been removed, and the drain was less than 10 metres from the plumber's van.

PM247 arrived at the time they said, looked at the job, told me what it would cost, when agreed carried out the work, checked I was happy, tided up without any fuss and departed very efficient and pleasant plumber. so we were more than happy.

The service is not genuine, honest or trustworthy …

Warning PM247 company the service offered is not transparent no integrity with pricing policy. Trap you into a contract by sub contracting the work. To unprofessional with no full guarantee. A one month guarantee should not equate to extra charges if work was conducted correctly in the beginning. From my observation of the process it was a con, the machine process on works carried out was not used????? I will be taking matters further. The drain is still faced with the same problem.
