Conor was great. There was an issue after the original visit and he came back and rectified the problem with minimal fuss. Slightly more expensive but that’s what you get with emergency plumbing and they did what they said on the tin so absolutely no complaints.

Blocked drain - fast service, but pushed the blockage further down, wouldnt respond to calls, took another week and additional fee to fix. I wouldnt use again.

My auntie unfortunately called them because she didn’t know better. They do shady business unethical with pressure tactics and charge excessive amounts of money for minor jobs.
The only reason i let her pay was to not cause more stress to her because the plumber was at her house and being aggressive on the phone with me and then he had the audacity to accuse me of threatening him, when all i did was challenge him on the price he tried to charge.

If they did the same to you try reporting them to:
Trading standards
Action fraud
And HMRC if they asked you to pay cash to ‘reduce the price’

On 5th January 2026, Plumbing Immediately attended to diagnose a fault with our Potterton Suprima boiler. The engineer diagnosed it as overheating and requiring complete replacement, quoting £4,500 for a new combi boiler. We were then pressured to make a decision within 30 minutes.
Uncomfortable with both the diagnosis and the pressure tactics, we obtained a second opinion from another Gas Safe engineer the same day. The second engineer immediately identified the actual problem - faulty wiring in the fused spur. This was repaired quickly and the boiler has worked perfectly since.
The diagnosis of "overheating requiring £4,500 replacement" was completely wrong. A simple electrical fault was misdiagnosed as catastrophic failure, and we were pressured to commit thousands of pounds within 30 minutes to prevent us seeking other opinions.
We paid £90 for the call-out. We have emailed and called Plumbing Immediately numerous times requesting a refund and explanation. We have received very little response or effort to resolve.
This combination of incorrect diagnosis, high-pressure sales tactics, and complete lack of customer service when challenged is extremely concerning. We could have spent £4,500 on completely unnecessary work.
Strongly recommend getting multiple independent opinions before accepting any major work diagnosis from this company.

They turned up quickly, my main complaint is they need to be more visible about pricing. I was told it was £69 call out fee, which I did think was good for emergency call out. What they failed to mention was they then charge £130 to diagnose the problem, add the VAT and that is effectively £238 call out fee. I think this needs to be made clear to customers before they book.

Very responsive and were able to find a good local plumber to fix a leak within 2 hours of calling.
However, at £79 (excl. VAT) call out charge plus the £225/ hour (excl. VAT) labour, PLUS a 15% admin (add VAT to what ever figure that comes to as well), you'll be paying way over the actual cost of labour and parts if you sourced a local plumber directly. Shop around if you can, and have time, to find a good local service.
We paid £433 in total to have about half a meter 15mm copper pipe replaced outside the house. And the guy was in and out within 45 minutes.

Paid upfront for an urgent boiler repair visit in Sutton (no heat/hot water). Engineer diagnosed faulty PCB but now wants another £270.64 just for the part and fitting – on top of what I already paid for diagnosis and the visit!
This is double-charging for one job. PCB replacements usually cost £250–£550 total (part + labour). Asking for extra after the paid call-out feels unfair and poor value.
Communication is slow (up to 24 hrs), no clear policy upfront, and now waiting 5–7 days without heat while they demand advance payment.

It would be helpful if the admin fee was clearer as that was a shock !

Andrew arrived exactly at the time I requested, was very professional, and clearly explained what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future.

It is a bit pricey, but everything is explained upfront, so you know in advance what you’re agreeing to and how much you’re paying.

I called the number and got told the call out fee which I agreed to but we weren't told cost per hour. The plumber came in an hour which was relatively quickly for later on a Friday evening. The cost was exorbitant, £279 per hour + £95 call out fee + 15% admin fee is ridiculous + vat. I had called another company but could remember the name 2 years ago and it was half this price for a similar time/day! The plumber solved the issue quickly but also completely burnt our skirting board so that will need to be completely replaced now.

Andrew used the jet to remove various obstructions in our downpipe. He arrived when he said he would and did the work efficiently, everything seems to work okay at the moment. I would recommend him, for further work, however it's not cheap, which may deter some.
