Excellent plumbing service. Very quick to respond and arrived on time. The work was done professionally, everything was explained clearly, and the price was fair. Reliable, friendly, and very tidy while working. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a trustworthy plumber. Will definitely use their services again in the future!

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves an honest account so that other customers know what to expect.

When I called the company, I was informed that the call-out fee was £69. What was not made sufficiently clear at the time was that this figure did not include VAT, and that the pricing structure thereafter becomes significantly higher. The first hour rate effectively approaches £370, which only becomes apparent once the engineer is already at your property.

To be clear, the engineer himself was polite, professional, and very understanding. He quickly assessed the issue and explained exactly why the drain was blocked. The problem was obvious and straightforward, and the solution took no more than 2–3 minutes to resolve.

The difficulty is not with the engineer’s work — which was perfectly adequate — but with the company’s pricing transparency. Charging approximately £200 in total for a job that took less than five minutes is difficult to justify, especially when the full pricing structure is not clearly explained at the outset.

It also appeared that the engineer was essentially dispatched by the company and had little connection with the pricing policy itself. This gives the impression that the individuals doing the work are not responsible for the charges customers ultimately face.

In the end, the drain was unblocked quickly, but the experience left the uncomfortable feeling that the pricing model relies heavily on urgency and lack of clarity rather than on the complexity of the work performed.

As someone who works in a highly skilled profession that requires years of training and responsibility, it was somewhat ironic to realise that a task lasting a few minutes can cost £200 (following negotiations & fighting over the phone). It certainly makes one reflect on career choices.

The engineer deserves credit for his professionalism. However, the company’s lack of upfront transparency regarding costs is disappointing and, in my opinion, unfair to customers who call in good faith during a household emergency.

Claim to be Saniflo specialists. They are not.

The engineer didn't open the unit. Didn't inspect it. Declared it beyond repair on sight alone, then made it worse by sucking additional waste into the pump.

Pricing is deliberately opaque. They'll quote you £79 for a call-out over the phone but won't disclose the hourly rate until the engineer is at your door. I asked directly whether booking same-day vs next-day would cost more. Was told no. That was a lie.

Promised a callback the next day. Never heard from them.

A certified Saniflo engineer came the following day, opened the unit, and fixed it in 20 minutes. It was never broken.

Misleading pricing, fabricated expertise, no diagnosis, damage to my property, and a customer service team that disappears the moment something goes wrong. Avoid.

I was charged £1,244 for replacing a bathroom sink pop-up mechanism. I was initially told the repair would take no more than one hour, but the visit lasted three hours. During that time, the plumber left the property multiple times to access his vehicle and twice to purchase parts, amounting to an estimated 1 hour off-site. Based on this, the active working time on the repair itself was significantly less than three hours. I paid the invoice at the time to avoid placing the attending plumber in an uncomfortable position, but I subsequently raised concerns about the billing. Over the past two months, I have sent four formal emails and called numerous phone numbers listed on their website, yet I have received no response. I also noticed that the contact numbers displayed on their website appear to change frequently, and different numbers are shown depending on whether the site is accessed via desktop or mobile. This made it extremely difficult to follow up on my complaint and raises concerns about transparency. I respect skilled trades and fair pricing. However, I expect reasonable estimates, clear justification for charges, and basic customer service when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those standards.

Andrew came and completely solved the problem. He was so nice and explained everything.

Tony was really quick to the scene (about 30 mins) on a Saturday when we'd just moved into our new home. He was able to fix the leak quickly. He told us the price before beginning work, so everything was clear.

Completely unreliable service. Multiple confirmed arrival times were given, yet no engineer attended and no proactive update was provided. I had to chase repeatedly for information.
For an urgent plumbing issue, punctuality and communication are essential. Unfortunately, this company failed on both counts.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. I contacted Plumbing Immediately for an urgent blocked drain issue and was repeatedly assured that an engineer would attend within a specific timeframe. I was first told 1:00 pm, then 2:00 pm, and later 4:00 pm “for sure.” On each occasion, nobody arrived, and no proactive communication was provided.
I rearranged my entire day based on their promises, yet there was complete disregard for punctuality and customer urgency. Repeated assurances were given, but they were not honoured. This lack of reliability and accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with urgent household drainage problems and at the end they said you can cancel the job.
If you value your time and expect professional conduct, I would strongly advise considering alternative providers.

Omg, what a complete legend Andrew from plumbing immediately was. Arrived with 45 minutes of my phone call requesting help to unblock my sewage drain.
He turned up with all the gear, talked me through exactly what he was going to do and had the lot done within one hour. Talk about saving the day.
Lovely bloke as well. Highly recommend their services if you, like me, ever find yourself in the sh!t, literally.

Andrew was very polite, professional and did the job quickly and efficiently. Andrew didn't leave any mess and tested it a few times before he left and he found some more leaks which he fixed. I would highly recommend this plumber.

I appreciate the cost that comes with it - but £289 an hour, not charged at 30 min prices is ridiculous. £60 admin fee. No VAT included in price - plumber couldn’t even fix the issue. I turned the water off myself, plumber told me to get a drainage expert who can sort the issue. Drainage company came, found the issue immediately which was in the toilet itself causing the leak, no drainage blocks. Was charged £850 for no actual work being done. Bloke who came round couldn’t believe how much they had charged me - says it all.

Andrew came out to help us during our busiest time, with 15,000 people coming through the venue every month, a plumber is needed. This was the 3rd time Andrew came to attend when called. Plumbing Immediately is the perfect name for this company and Andrew in particular. The attention shown and the solutions thought of were testament to their ethos. I want to thank Andrew and the whole Plumbing immediately team in general for being fair and efficient and thinking only of their customers. We are lucky to have the team on hand for us.
I would also like to mention, as a female venue manager, it isn't often you are listened to (as a woman) by tradespeople or even given a chance to understand what the issue is, Andrew gave me all of his attention and allowed me to understand so I could relay to my higher ups and that is unbelievably appreciated, especially as the daughter of a tradesman. If you are looking for a contracted plumber look no further than Plumbing immediately, especially Andrew and his team!

Two hours to find fault with boiler Fixed boiler temporally. Gave FAILED gas safety certificate. Charged £555.no heat or hot water. Refused to leave until payment. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Replaced two old radiators for new. Price was good and plumber Frankie was efficient

I had a very disappointing experience with Plumbing Immediately. Their prices are extremely high compared to other companies, and I feel they take advantage of urgent situations. The quote I received was far beyond what I expected, with little transparency about the breakdown of costs.

What made the experience worse was the poor customer service. Communication was unprofessional and unhelpful, and I did not feel valued as a customer. My concerns were not handled properly, and there was no effort made to resolve the issue or provide reassurance.

Overall, I would not recommend this company due to their excessive pricing and very poor customer service. I strongly suggest others compare quotes carefully before choosing them.
