I was with these guys for about 7 years…
I was with these guys for about 7 years and I figured I would always be with them because I love their plugins. They are freakin great.
But, I had enough bad experiences to cancel my subscription and just purchase the plugins I wanted.
First, I won the Amek 9099 Channel via their Facebook page and they contacted me and everything, it was great. This was maybe 2018 or so. So, two years later I happened to be looking though the list of plugins I owned and I saw that I did not own it. (though I already had use of it thru the subscription and I loved that plugin...loved...as in past tense...) So they gave it to me on their FB page but did not transfer the ownership. I contacted them and they said that I needed to prove that I won the contest which I could not do even after looking through their page for hours. Ok, whatever. Just a let down really. I still had use of the plugin.
Then, I upgraded subscription at a later date. I hit the button that said "UPGRADE" or whatever to the highest tier and so I did cos I loved their guitar plugins and I wanted them all. Then about 6 months later I realized they were still taking money out for the old subscription AND the new one! I contacted them...."sorry, lots of people have multiple accounts" they said. But I hit the upgrade button? I thought it would know to cancel the old account. Apparently not and I lost another few hundred dollars.
Then, the last straw. Someone hacked my account last year and spent a bunch of money from my bank account. I could not even get in my account but I emailed them from my regular email and they saw the fraudulent activity and put it all right very quickly. However, my account did not renew the next month. I realized when all my plugins stopped working and I had to go into my account. I saw that it was set not to renew but I have had this account for years, I would not stop the auto-renew. So I contacted them. They said it must have happened during the hacking and I just had to turn it back on which I had already done. The problem was that I was almost ready to pick my 10 free plugins for the year because it was almost at the end of my billing year. But when the account did not renew, it reset the year and I had to start over from a new year! So I said forget this crap and now I have $50 Canadian a month more in my pocket and one less headache.
But their plugins are truly great, especially the Brainworx stuff and their guitar plugins.

To make matters worse, the platform prevents users from reselling licenses when a plugin is no longer needed. It effectively claims control over my property. That is highly unprofessional and treats customers with complete disregard. I find this simply embarrassing.

Great plugins & deals to help me get the job done. They compliment other plug in vendors I use every day, are high quality and bang for buck worth it. If you can’t find tools in their subscription to help and inspire you on your mixing journey, then rethink your techniques.

Do you want to change mail, well then plugin-alliance is not for you. Such a basic feature is not avalible so just dont use plugin-alliance since they dont have any service mindness.
Difficult to install and authorize
The products are recommended by professionals. The company is legit. Unfortunately, the complexity of the installation process, as well as unaccuracies in the language used in their website, can turn the user's experience into a total dystopian nightmare. I hope that they will implement the improvements that I have suggested

No brainer
The subscription is unreal value. The fact that you also get permanent licenses worth the value of the subscription makes this a no brainer. I have been using their plugins for a few years now and will probably continue.

Tried contacting support on three occasions totally ignored. Glad it was re a plug in missing presets rather than a subscription etc. Poor .
False personalized offers
I have a few of their plugins and they are ok. Nevertheless, this company has a subscription model which I will never support, and they do have the tendency to send false advertising to your email. Just yesterday I got an email with an “special upgrade offer” which was not real once I contacted customer service letting them know my special offer wasn’t working at checkout. I wasn’t even going to buy this plugin, I only was going to get it because of the personalized offer. I hate false advertisement!!! Just don’t send any offers if you guys are going to lie! I don’t care about the price, but I do care about advertising honestly without funny gimmicks to get my $$$….
Presets, uninstalls, and more
I built a new DAW. I went to install my PA Products, which went smoothly. But when I fired them up, the presets in all of the apps were not there. I put in a ticket, which PA answered promptly, and repeated promptness for follow up emails. However, some of the info in the emails lacked a little, and I struggled to figure out the issue, which I eventually did. So for customer service, I would give this a 5 star rating.
So why the lower score, here's why
This one is nasty. In an effort to attempt a clean install, I went to uninstall PA Product. There is no way to uninstall. Nothing in Windows, nothing in PA. I have to go in and delete files and register entries. That's a star right there
Also, In dialog with PA, I was informed that ALL Presets get installed with their app. Well, that's an inaccurate statement. They don't all get installed! I go on to find a page in PA that outlines what to do in the event presets don't get loaded. Hmmmm, Then I find all sorts of articles and youtube vids that show the issue has been around for a while. That's another star.
Part of me wants to take it down to 2 stars, but the customer support was timely, so there you have it

They have a huge variety of high quality plugin at a wide range of prices. You can try out any plugin before buying. They have very good deals and plugin subscription plans. Most importantly, they are not cut throat like some companies. If you buy something on Monday and have a problem, they are reasonable with refund requests. I love these guys!
Great Support, No Hassle
Had to swap two plugins after purchasing the wrong versions. Reached out to support, and Lukas sorted it out quickly and without any issues. Super smooth process—great service! Unlike some other reviews, which don’t seem too happy, my experience was nothing but positive.

i would give 0 if i could. I cant say anything about the actual functionality since i never really used it. But it's faith was decided after having 5 pop-up windows that i have to close one by one, on every ProTools launch. what kinda Shitty App is this supposed to be?? And the support tells me there is no function to uninstall it, you have to remove the files manually. Which i did but guess what. it still pops up 5 times, reliably everytime like a clockwork. what is it that every service gets more expensive and in return they shit on you.
