OH MY GOD ANOTHER 1 STAR MUSIC SITE LIKE DIGITAL STORES. LET ME TELL YOU THE END OF THIS PLACE... TONY PALMER DID THIS WHOLE GIGANTIC ORDEAL THAT WHAT EXISTED WAS THE HOLY GRAIL OF 200 MOTELS. THE FRANK ZAPPA 1971/1972 MOVIE THAT MANY DIDN'T LIKE. THE STORY BEHIND IT WAS SO SICKENING I'M NOT SURE WHY FRANK EVEN BOTHERED WITH THE DEAL HE WAS GIVEN. BUT IT WAS MADE. APPARENTLY THIS MOVIE WAS SHOT LIVE AND RECORDED WITH ALL THE HIGH QUALITY ON THEN PAL VIDEO TAPE. IT WAS REALLY A MOVIE MADE FOR TV. BUT LOL IT WAS RATED X THEN R. AND THEN POORLY TRANSFERRED BECAUSE TECHNOLOGY THEN JUST SUCKED FOR THINGS LIKE THIS. TRANSFER A PAL VIDEO TAPE TO 35 MM. JUST IMAGINE THAT. SO THE SOUND PICTURE JUST GRAINY AND POOR SOUND. BUT ALL OF THAT IS PRISTINE IS ON THE ORIGINAL VIDEO TAPE. NOW APPARENTLY TONY PALMER HAD THESE TAPES SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM ( SUPPOSEDLY ) AND WERE NOT ERASED FOR WHAT ENGLAND DID THEN RE USE VIDEO TAPE. THIS WENT ON FOR YEARS TILL ONE DAY MONTY PYTHON'S GOD'S SAVOR AMERICAN TERRY GILLIAM WOKE UP THE BBC ... BY TELLING THEM YOU WILL NOT ERASE THESE VIDEO TAPES. YOU WILL GIVE THE ORIGINALS TO ME AND MAKE COPIES FOR BROADCAST. TERRY KEPT THE ORIGINAL PAL FORMAT. SO EVERY TIME YOU WATCH MONTY PYTHON NOTICE THE QUALITY IS PRISTINE. THAT WAS BECAUSE TERRY HAD THE AMERICANA LOGIC OF NOT ERASING VIDEO TAPE FOR OTHER PROGRAMS TO BE RECORDED ONTO. THE BBC STOPPED THIS PRACTICE AFTER TERRY GILLIAM WOKE UP THE SLEEPING BBC EXECUTIVES AND THE BBC SAID I THINK TERRY THE MAN WHO BROUGHT YOU BRAZIL AND LATELY The Man Who Killed Don Quixote which I couldn't finish...

BACK TO TONY PALMERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. SO. He apparently has stuff he has to put together however but his 2010 200 MOTELS DVD is a PIECE OF FECAL MATTER. AND SOMEHOW AND THIS IS WHERE IS GETS VERY MYSTERIOUS A MIRACLE OF LIFE VERSION NEVER RELEASED ON DVD SHOWED UP ON EUROPEAN TV IN HD !!! AND WELL I'LL HAVE TO WATCH IT AGAIN. AND THIS IS THE THING THIS RELEASE WAS TERMINATED BUT WITH A DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGY ... THE SITE IS CLOSED SO I CAN'T GO BACK AND FIND THE WORD THEY USED. EITHER ONE TONY DIDN'T GET ENOUGH BACKING TO FINISH THIS ( HONESTLY HE WAS SCAMMING PEOPLE WITH THE RELEASE. IT CAME IN 50 DIFFERENT VERSIONS ONE WITH T SHIRT ONE WITH UNAUTHORIZED CD AND DVD WITH BOOK ONE WITH AUTOGRAPH THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. ) SO OH I THINK THE WORD WAS CLOSED !!!! AND I CALLED PLEDGE MUSIC ABOUT THIS CAUSE IT HAD LIKE 150 DAYS LEFT TO MAKE A PLEDGE AND I GAVE IN AND WAS GOING TO AND THEN I GO TO SITE AND IT'S CLOSED. I"M LIKE HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. CALLED A REALLY NERVOUS YOUNG LADY ON THE PHONE SHE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. 1 THE PROJECT WASN'T GETTING THE FUNDS WHICH IN THE END I THINK TONY ACTUALLY TRANSFERRED THE TAPE IN 4K EASY TO DO REALLY. HE HAD SOMEONE DO IT FOR HIM. AND IT WAS SHOWN ON EU TV. CAUSE THE QUALITY AND I HAVE IT. IS ASTONISHING. YOU JUST YOU FIND A DOWNLOAD PLACE SOMEWHERE AND JUST GRAB IT FOR FREE AFTER ALL THIS BS ... 2 AHMET ZAPPA OR WHOEVER OWNS MGM NOW STOPPED IT ... OR 3 PLEDGE MUSIC WAS SO SERIOUSLY IN DEBT AND NOW AS YOU KNOW WAS CLOSED DOWN AND THAT WAS WHY I WAS GETTING LIED TO AND THIS HORSE PLAY ON THE PHONE FOR LIKE 30 MINUTES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... SO REALLY MGM OR WHATEVER THEY ARE NOW OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS. AND PUT OUT SOME GOLD BOX DVD VERSION WHICH I HAVEN'T SEEN BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S THE VIDEO TAPE VERSION JUST A 4K VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL 35 MM PRINT. BUT I HEARD WAS EXCELLENT. THAT MAYBE IS WHAT THEY SHOWED ON TV. AND MEANWHILE TONY PALMER IS SITTING AT HIS DESK STARRING AT THESE PAL VIDEO TAPES ... OR MAYBE NOT MAYBE HE'S IMAGINING THEY ARE THERE AND LIKE FRANK ZAPPA SAID THE ORIGINAL TAPES WERE ERASED OR I HEARD TONY PALMER IN A RAGE WHEN HE WAS DONE WITH FILM IN 1972 JUST TOOK THE TAPES AND BROKE THEM INTO 50 TRILLION PIECES, RUNNING LIKE A MAD MAN AROUND HIS OFFICE STREAKING THE TAPES OUT OF THE SHELLS TAPE SCATTERED EVERYWHERE. OR MAYBE THEY ARE IN TACT ON THAT DESK. NO ONE KNOWS. SO PLEDGE MUSIC BYE BYE POS COMPANY. YOU MURDERED ALLAN HOLDSWORTH WITH STRESS YOU HORRIFIC SCUM BAGS.

I pledged and received nothing.
Never got my money back. Never got anything. Am heartbroken.

I bought stuff from them in February. No trace, no nothing.

Ordered multiple products from them and never received anything. I have sent atleast 20 emails with not 1 response. Straight up stole my cash and scurried away like the rats they are.

pledgemusic is the worst scam in music business. We have several items which were never delievered since years, all requests remain unanswered. Never received any information or refund. Also some bands are victims of this fraud. Stay away from this company.

PLEDGE MUSIC IS A SCAM!!!! I ordered a signed CD from several years ago. they had multiple ship dates, and each time it got pushed back, and back, and back....They responded to only 1 or 2 of my emails, but then stopped. They are not members of the Better Business Bureau, but have an "F" rating. How these scam artists manage to stay in business is beyond me! They are thieves, and should be in jail!!! "F' You pledgemusic!!!

Me too. Ripped off by pledge. Two items that never showd.only a standard response from them saying be patient they will sort it out but its been months now. Still no items. Such a shame, a great idea but run by crooks. Keep your money safe people.

Do Not support Pledge music did not get my items, and the run with my Money you will not get your money back had to go to bank for help thankyou

They owe me £150 of product, and don't answer my emails. Is there anything we can do ?

I am offended I have to give these charlatans 1 star but it is the lowest rating available. I ordered the new Space Monkeys album through these lying cheats way over a year ago. pledgemusic have ripped the band off and ripped the fans off. All they deal in is lies about how they are processing refunds and never, ever actually refund anybody. Jail is too good for them.

Used to be brilliant. Now they are disgraceful. Ripping money. Claim to have financial difficulties. But are still taking in new pledges

Terrible ordered a damned cd nearly 2 years ago no CD no refund just excuse . Why isn't there website closed they are ripping people off.

Pledgemusic have stolen my money and don't refund I wouldn't mind if the band got the money I paid either but it seems pledge have taken this for themselves. BEWARE!

Asked for a refund three times and still nothing. Basically stolen my money. Now not responding to emails.

I brought several pledges over the years however I will never be using them again, I have given them months and sent several messages and emails to try and get my money back for a pledge I did not receive but to no avail, BUYER BEWARE DO NOT TRUST OR USE PLEDGE MUSIC UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MUSIC AND BE DISSAPOINTED AND LET DOWN

I've had a great experience with supporting the band Failure through PledgeMusic. However, now that PledgeMusic has financial issues (and has had them for some time), the band hasn't been payed and they are unable to fulfill the physical orders of CD's and vinyls. I'm out 70 USD (plus 22.72 USD for shipping) for a signed copy of the vinyl. And that's all on PledgeMusic. I made my order almost a year ago, in March 2018, and it is highly unlikely that my bank will be able to pull back the funds. But I'll sure give it a try!
