Right from the first point of contact, the staff at Exeter could not have been more helpful. They made us feel so welcome and I was very grateful at how brilliantly the manager helped me get my moody teenager engaged!

My son (11) and his friend had an hour of multiple VR games. They loved it. We arrived early so they got to play on Nintendo switch for 15 mins, which went down well. The VR experience was all good, no issues, they enjoyed 5 games, mainly shooting things with guns or crossbows or bows and arrows. I would use again. Even think I'd like to give it a go.

The premium vr escape room was not available due to a technical issue apart from that excellent service... Could do with air conditioning. But the chap behind the desk was ace really friendly and knowledgeable

Player ready have charged £50 for occasions my son hasn't been and taken money from my account without my authorisation. I paid in person on every occasion that my son went. Player ready Exeter booked us in on days that we didn't want. I have emailed them to explain all of this and I have had no response. I have to say my son and I are very disappointed as we will not be returning.

Hello Lee. I can see your son was signed up and allocated a space at our popular weekend coding club - which guarantees a space every week.
You provided your card when you signed up online and at the end of the month your card account is billed to bring it to £0.
If you pay in person, you’re not double charged but you will be charged for missed sessions - as that space was left empty.
I can see you emailed to complain about this and received a same day response with detailed reply, screenshots etc. You then replied to that email and the thread is still with our team.
However you also have a parent portal which shows charges and payments, schedules etc - allowing you to cancel spaces - if you can’t attend or no longer which to come.
We find parents prefer to have guaranteed space, as often weekends run a waiting list to get a space, especially during winter.
Rest assured, if we had discovered any overcharges this would have been refunded or added as credit against future sessions.
The team in Exeter would have also been happy to discuss in person had you give the opportunity.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff
First VR escape room so some time wasted familiarising myself with VR space and controls.
Game was difficult but moving around to different rooms was good although discovering the clues was near impossible without the help.
Didn't finish it but a good first experience.
The attentive hosts were amazing at making sure each player got the very best experience. It was a wonderful atmosphere and our party all thoroughly enjoyed themselves an our of pure VR joy. Thank you
