Enjoyable workshop, learnt loads!
Hi, I discovered Sian via a workshop to turn plastic into jewellery! As I needed to travelling to attend thought I'd check out her website first to make sure it would be worth my while! Was immediately intrigued!
And yes, it was so worth my while. Arrived late but Sian made me feel so welcome. The group was very interactive and helpful and it was really incredible to be able to quickly learn some new skills to turn everyday waste plastic into beautiful and truly unique jewellery, in a supportive and engaging environment.
Would highly recommend Sian's jewellery and her workshops! I learnt loads! Enjoy!
Beautiful jewellery and fantastic customer service
After discovering Siân and her work at Ally Pally a few weeks ago, I've now ordered four pairs of Plastique earrings as gifts for friends and family (and they've all gone down extremely well!). They are beautiful pieces of jewellery in their own right, so the fact that they are designed and produced with sustainability in mind just seems like a wonderful bonus! Siân is warm and friendly with an infectious enthusiasm for what she does. She goes out of her way to deliver a truly personal service - including delivering in person to those who live nearby. I'll definitely be ordering from Siân again!
Cool earrings and an Oyster card holder
I bought some ‘A’ earrings and an Oyster card holder from Siân at the Visionnaires pop up market in Tottenham. I’ve had so many compliments from people about my earrings, absolutely love them! Thanks Siân!
I bought two beautiful pieces of art…
I bought two beautiful pieces of art work by Siân a while back now that showcase a consciousness to re-use, create work with meaning and intention and I love them very much.
Love her handmade jewellery and the positive impact on the planet and community
I visited Siân at her market stall in Alexandra Palace a couple weeks ago and purchased my second-ever pair of her earrings. I've been following Siân's career and when she launched PLASTIQUÉ By Siân, I was so excited because not only do I LOVE her earrings, which are bright, bold and colourful, but all her creations are upcycled from waste materials like plastic, which makes me feel like I'm doing my bit to prevent waste being dumped in landfills and having an positive impact on our beautiful planet.
Siân also does fantastic work giving back to the community through her workshops. She teaches people of all ages and skill levels and shares her knowledge and processes with the public in order to encourage people to think about how they can reuse and upcycle plastic.
I loved the way Sian made me feel relax…
I loved the way Sian made me feel relax about trying something new. She explained the process of making my earrings, also the importance of upcycling to reduce waste and damage to the environment.
Sian’s bubbly and patient personality, and her help with giving me ideas on how to make my earrings more effective, helped my feel calm and relaxed.
I love my earrings 😁🎊✨🎊✨
Stunning new PLASTIQUÉ range
Siân's new PLASTIQUÉ range is stunning and creatively recycled. I've bought her earrings as well-received gifts. Each is unique so when it's gone it's gone!
Have had the pleasure of recently…
Have had the pleasure of recently working with Siân on a performance project. The brief was to create costuming around the theme of "Breathe" for Bloomsbury festival for a Youth Dance company. I am blown away by her creativity and resourcefulness in her design and work. Such a professional and delightful young woman to work with also!
Creative Unique Plastique #urban #upcycling
The story around the material, was waste but changed it to be something colourful and valued..made earrings and necklace from a sainsbury bag, afew other brands and bubble wrap.
I diverted abit of plastic from the landfill via Plastique. This has been my 3rd workshop and looking forward to future ones.
