Great range of products

Fast delivery, ordered late Monday and had my ceiling rose arrived on Wednesday. They have a really good range of plaster ceiling roses, all sizes and styles. Great communication and customer service. Would definitely shop there again.

A good product at a good price

A good product at a good price. Tanya was always helpful, friendly and honest. They deliver the product themselves instead of using a courier so the coving was transported, handled and stacked with care by Steve, who even gave me a reference to a plasterer in my area to install it.

Friday Afternoon shipment!

Sample pack arrived in pieces/chipped due to poor wrapping (rolled up in what I assume was a ripped off cardboard sheet from bigger box and bubble wrap). Would be unfair to comment on detailing/quality of the plaster work as per above damage.....however; not convinced about ordering 60m from these guys and there not being an issue (Quality/Damage) etc, how on gods green earth would you return 60m of coving!!!.

Shame because the website works well.

Updated post: So just got a reply from Plaster Coving Ltd....which is good, fair play' kudos to the social media team - Tanya.

1 - As far as "In your case we did NOT receive any calls or email!!", that is because I didn't send one, or make one; and quite honestly I would have remained silent if 'you' hadn't passed my details to trust pilot (can't remember giving permission for that by the way); hence that is why you got a review. Please don't forget a review is just that' something that happened, that occurred in the past; the service that was actually rendered. Love the exclamation marks by the way, tres dramatic!! ;)

2 - "I think it is a bit unfair to be notified through a 2 star review about something that could be easily sorted directly between you and our sales team. Really, I'm unfair! I shouldn't need to contact you, what is unfair is not caring enough to let this happen in the first place. Take ownership of the fault, address the fact 'your' current SOP (standard operating procedure) you have of: first point of contact after a sale is through trust Pilot, rather than courtesy call,a sales call, an email etc and the poor reviews won't blindside you and be forth coming.

It's great that you highlight (thus mitigating people reading the poor reviews fear of service/quality) what you 'would' have done, if you had only known; much hand wringing in the office I'm sure :). I reiterate; the reviews are for what you did do, the actual product/service you delivered!! (Damn those exclamation marks - again) . Just send it out in a correct fashion, we all know that a strip of cardboard isn't going to cut it. I still have the samples, I am more than happy to photograph how some of the samples are in a blue cellophane, presumably because they were already fractured/delicate when packaged?

Obviously this is one of those 'few' instances it goes wrong, otherwise Plaster Cove wouldn't be in business; all is good this end. Have a great weekend and enjoy the sun!! (aaaaaaah those exclamation marks again).

Hi,
I am very sorry to hear this. We send all our samples through a next day courier service and I can assure you that this hardly ever happens. In the few cases when this has happened we have always acted promptly and sent another parcel straight away and free of charge.
We do also offer full refunds as long as we are informed about a problem through a simple email or phone call!

In your case we did NOT receive any calls or email!!

As for the actual full coving order delivery, we don`t use a courier but our own vans and experienced drivers, so we can guarantee a safe transportation of our coving. I can proudly say we hardly ever have any problems.

I just wish you had contacted our office to inform us about the situation as we would have helped you immediately.
I think it is a bit unfair to be notified through a 2 star review about something that could be easily sorted directly between you and our sales team.

delivery was a day late after i tried to contact driver i contacted the office out of hours and they hot back to me saying it would be with me 1st thing the next morning
gave me an extra length free incase of damages to delivery

The samples we ordered arrived quickly …

The samples we ordered arrived quickly and we're great quality. However we had to cancel our main order as the lead in time was just too long. We were initially told two weeks due to our chosen coving not being in stock. We were then contacted a few days before our expected delivery to be told it'd be a further 10 days wait. Our plasterer had other commitments by this time and would have been unable to fit the coving until July meaning the room would be unusable til that time.

little disappointed with the time taken …

little disappointed with the time taken for delivery. sample was here within 2 days by actual order took over a week.As long as you are aware of this when ordering then this would be fine but we did not find out until a couple of days later with a proposed delivery email.

Great service

Great service. I was in the middle of renovation work and needed a ceiling rose. I was unsure of the delivery lead time so did not place an order. I got a call the next day and the friendly helpful staff told me the delivery driver was in my city the next day which was perfectly timed. Order placed over the phone and product as expected at a good price. Highly professional outfit and would definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Really helpful customer service

Really helpful customer service. Guided me through my purchase - even emailing me personally with a list of items in stock that I could get quickly. Delivery was prompt and I receive a call before they set off with a time for the delivery. The product was good quality and is up and looking fantastic. Cannot fault anything.
