I placed my order for plants on…

I placed my order for plants on 01/12/25, however I was disappointed when they delivered a dead plant. I tried to contact them regarding the issue to be resolved but they didn’t take any action either to refund me or replace the plant. I received the dead plant and they took my money. I had ordered three different plants, two were healthy and one completely dead. They don’t even deserve one star reviews because there is no zero. I wouldn’t recommend people to buy indoor plants from them.

We recently ordered 2 heart ferns from…

We recently ordered 2 heart ferns from Plants USA. We received them and one was in beautiful condition while the second was almost dead. We sent a picture to them immediately and they apologized and sent a replacement. The replacement was in worse condition than the first. From a service perspective, they did right by us, but if you’re looking for a plant that is actually alive, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Very nice orchids plant

The recipient of my orchids were very happy with them. Ordering was easy and an instant discount was available on the website. Delivery was delayed by one day but as far as I can see this was a UPS problem and not a Plants.com problem. They kept me informed about the delivery status. This is a good alternative to a florist order and less expensive. I would use this company again.

They blatantly scam you

They blatantly scam you. Ordered a bonsai tree for a mother whose daughter took her own life. Specifically selected a delivery date that did NOT have a surcharge. But, they charged me a delivery surcharge on top of the delivery fee. Had to email them to request a refund. Was told they would refund me and I would see the refund (PayPal) in 3-5 business days. Never got the refund. Emailed them again and was told it takes 60-90 business days to see the refund, which is BS. Asked for proof that the refund was issued, then was ignored. Had to open a dispute with PayPal. Also, the delivery was a day late and the tree was much smaller than described. I will NEVER use plants.com again. Please use a local florist. Pretty sure they charge you the surcharge and hope you don’t notice. Then give you the runaround.

Plant looked nothing like the website photo

I ordered a succulent as a gift for my mother, trusting the vibrant and colorful photo shown on the website. What arrived was a healthy plant, but it looked pale green and much less striking than expected. I understand that each plant is unique, but the difference between what was shown and what was delivered was too big to overlook, especially for a gift.

The company is an embarrassment

The company is an embarrassment. I ordered a gift for Mother's Day and paid extra for delivery on the Friday before. I get an email that says order shipped on the right date. I check the tracking number and FedEx says Monday. The rep said it was FedEx's fault, lol, but there was no indication of a delay. Plants.com is a bait and switch company.

Plants arrived too late and moldy

Plants arrived too late, but also moldy Caladium bulbs, all 5 of them. I demanded a refund, or a solution but they havent even got back to me.

Edit; they finally did and told me I could get a refund, have yet to get it though.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE! I read the reviews right after I placed my order and they wouldn't cancel it! The herbs came half dead and the plant wasn't much better! This company is a SCAM!!! BUYER BEWARE!

Moldy tubers, good customer service!

Two out three caladium tubers were moldy.. The lady that got my email from the customer service (Lotte) apologised and asked if Id like a refund or a new product. I chose the refund which was processed within a few day.

Product quality: (first and last time purchasing) no star / maybe one

Customer service: Five stars!

Bad packaging results in dead/damaged plants

They’re California based. Means further you are from shipping location the more opportunity for your plant to be damaged/dead. They don’t mark their packages as live plants nor do they note the box should be shipped upright. Resulting in the box getting tossed around and damaging the plants. Plants.com won’t refund my order, they’ve replaced the plant with the same results. They’re expensive as is and not worth the cost.

Super cute

Took along time to ship almost a month. I just received it today and it is so cute. Looks exactly like their picture online. Thought because of the cold it would arrive dead but NOPE the leaves are so green and shiny. Love it.

I paid for my plant to make it before…

I paid for my plant to make it before Christmas and it still is not delivered and I now think my daughter will not be home when delivered she left on vacation. Very unhappy, I wrote to company and still have not heard from them not happy at all.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

Purchased. Christmas cactus for a family member. It was pathetic. Skimpy and broken. Yellowed. I can’t believe I paid $60 for such a horrible plant. DO NOT RECOOMEND!!! Wish I had researched better and seen these reviews.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Order a peace lily plant that they picture as a beautiful plant with many white flowers. My gift was delivered with NOT ONE flower. Would never order from them again. Emailed customer service and they told me too bad. It’s also funny how they only post 5 star reviews on their website. I did a review on their site and it doesn’t appear.

TINY bonsai

The Juniper Bonsai I ordered is TINY. Much smaller than the photo and listed dimensions insinuated. Its still adorable, but the small Juniper was advertised as being much bigger. I paid $52 (inclusive of a coupon) for a super tiny tree. I reached out to customer service and was sent another Juniper Bonsai that is slightly taller, but beware that the tree is much smaller than it looks in the photos, and the dimensions listed at the time I purchased were for a Devil's Ivy tree.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Didn't send Valentines day plant I sent to be delivered on Valentines day ordered 2 days in advance. When I inquired about why the tracking doesn't show shipped, they said " We're very sorry your order was not delivered as scheduled. We would like to process a redelivery at our earliest convenience. Please let us know if this is okay." They could have let me know in advance and now I have no option.

Ordered bonsai that never came! They said they will resend again but nothing. They told me they will deliver it on the 25th of January... nothing, then 31st.. nothing again. Don't but here, go somewhere else. Scammers!!!
