We booked well in advance with Plan My Umrah and paid a premium, but unfortunately, no part of the service was up to scratch.

The hotel in Makkah was much further from the Haram than we were advised. On arrival, we faced complications with the booking – they had arranged a 4 single-bed room for a married couple. The hotel confirmed this was due to the agent’s error, not theirs. Despite repeatedly messaging Muzaffar (our agent), he never resolved it, and we had to sort out alternative arrangements ourselves.

For the Ziyarat, we specifically asked multiple times if the drivers spoke English. We were assured they did, but this was completely false – they did not speak a word, making communication very difficult.

Our hotel in Madinah was also extremely far from the Haram. When I asked Muzaffar to find us something closer, he suggested a 3-star hotel that was actually more expensive than a 5-star I found myself on Booking.com. He even offered to pay half, but then rescinded this unless I went with his option, even though halving the cheaper 5-star would have cost far less. In the end, I had to book another hotel myself at significant extra cost.

Looking back, the whole trip would have worked out much cheaper and far less stressful had I arranged everything directly.

Umrah is straightforward to organise, so you may as well save yourself the extra fees these agents undoubtedly add on top.

Overall, Muzaffar and Plan My Umrah were misleading, unprofessional, and caused us unnecessary stress and financial loss during a trip that should have been peaceful and well-organised.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

Last January 8, MyUmrah took £380 from my credit card supposedly as a payment to ensure I received a full refund for a cancelled flight I had booked with some another third party. The refund was never received and despite emails over recent weeks to MyUmrah requesting repayment of the £380, they have never responded, let alone acknowledged my emails. I consider MyUmrah (as things are) to have acted fraudulently.

Further details are to be read in emails sent to your admin address on May 20 and May 28, your reply to these is still awaited.

To confirm a refund has just been received (June 20) so I now amend my star rating.

Gave an amazing deal. Tailored the package to my requests. Everything went smooth and according to plan. Wasif was very helpful and thoughtful. Communication was available day and night. Definitely recommended!!

allhamdulilah we done our Umrah in the blessed month of Ramadan. 31st March till 12th of April.
service from brother wasif was really good. mecca hotel was good. only thing diver was always late by an 1hrs for ziyarah.
madina Hotel was really good but thay changed the hotel last minute without telling us we had to wait more then 2hrs for new hotel. the was really unprofessional annoying. as we all was fasting also very tried. overall allhamdulilah for everything.

My experience was fairly pleasant and the communication from the team was good. I was getting messages as a reminder which for me was good as we could plan the day accordingly.
We got option for the time we wanted to go for ziyarat and it was a plus as we wanted to spent more time in Haram. VOCO Makkah experience was great. I cant say the same about the Hotel Taba Al Salam in Madina but it was from the hotel side not a blame to Plan my Umrah team. Communication with the ziyarat team (Rafi) was easy and amazing and so was with Wasif from Plan My Umrah.
