Excellent service and attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble

Got recommended planit from a friend. From the moment I entered the shop I was made to feel welcome from the pleasant receptionist. The initial eye test was really thorough like none I’d had before. Then I got introduced to Phil who is a really nice man and certainly knows what he is talking about. He talked me through all types of lens manufacturers and his advice was spot on. My lenses are varifocals and got used to them the minute I wore them. Can’t praise Phil and his team highly enough, and will recommend at every opportunity.

From the moment I made the appointment I was treated with total respect. After having an eye test to choosing my frames the care I received would be hard to beat. Staff are so friendly, professional and well trained. Phil was superb and his customer care skills are off the scale. In our modern world my faith in being treated with respect and care has been restored after my experience with this outstanding team. Other companies could learn from them. If you are thinking about paying them a visit then don't think about it, just do it ! you will not be disappointed.

We have been using planit for a very long time. They are very professional,friendly and they make you feel at ease whilst having your tests done,choosing your Glasses etc,and delivery is very fast and efficiently in lovely cases.

Excellent Service from this company, You are made to feel completely comfortable and treated with professionalism, you are also treated as a person, not just a number (as some of the other companies) I have used Plan-it previously and experienced the same level of expertise

Long term customer of many years and even though I’ve moved away I still travel.Good service etc but I go mainly as he makes my custom specs with gradients and coloured lenses. I actually get stopped by strangers asking where I got them from.

Plan it Opticians have a fabulous choice of frames, amazing customer service and after sales care from Phil, very fast turnaround from ordering frames in to dispensing. More than a 5 star service highly recommend

I had gone to this optician last year for an emergency appointment when I had an eye injury. I was very impressed, so we decided to go there for our eye test instead of going to the big companies (especially as they are local). It was a very good decision as they were very helpful and professional. we had a great experience and service and wish we had been going there before. Hilary & Stephen

We have been using Planit Opticians for several years and each time we have an appointment the whole team is so obliging. There is always a cheerful greeting from the receptionist and Phil and the whole experience is very thorough. The eye tests are thorough and new glasses are made promptly. The after service is great. We will return!!

Wow!! What an amazing first time experience. I had a very thorough eye test, was advised of what he was doing every step of the way and then came the choice of glasses. I have never had such a personal experience in my life. I was able to try on as many pairs as I wanted and was guided as to what suited me and what didn’t. I purchased a pair of Dolce & Gabana glasses which I would never have picked out for myself and then proceeded to buy a pair of Tiffany sunglasses. I will never go anywhere else for my glasses from now on. Amazing team!!

First time customers and absolutely delighted with the quality and selection of frames. Very thorough eye test and much more measuring than at previous opticians. Came away with prescription lenses for my existing Ray-Bans, a pair of fabulous Tom Ford’s with clip on sun lenses and my Wife a gorgeous pair of new Tiffany glasses. Great professional experience and the glasses were all ready in just over a week. Thank you. We will be back but hopefully not for a couple of years😂

I always love when my eye appointments come up, because the staff take so much time and effort to make sure I’m comfortable and well looked after whilst I’m there.
I’m never pressured to buy designer, or a new pair of specs. I always get the best advice on which look best when I do buy new and if I give a budget, it’s stuck to.
All the glasses are amazing quality and I love the fact I can pay monthly for my plan!
I recommend these to everybody!

I would absolutely recommend Plan-it Opticians! The service I have received has been exemplary from having my eyes tested to purchasing two pairs of glasses. I will undoubtedly be a lifelong customer!!

The best opticians I have ever been to and I have tested a few over the years! Phil and his team are excellent. I have both glasses and contact lenses and the care, advice and service is exemplary in relation to both. The team are both professional and caring with a choice of products that caters for all price and taste ranges. I’ve been with them a few years now but if I ever move away from my current location, I will simply have to schedule a day trip to Colne for my eye checks. Thoroughly recommend.
