This has got to be a scam !! Perfect case of too good to be true ! Arranged one weeks hire car from Bergamo airport , and on arrival at the passport control , were queued for two hours for new ID process , phoned the hire car company who informed if we were not there within half an hour of the planned pick up time the booking was cancelled ! So , no hire car , only 25% refund offered as a ‘goodwill gesture ‘ and stuck in airport ?! 🤦‍♀️ How can your reserved car , be taken within 30 minutes .. complete nonsense !!! DO NOT BOOK !

There was a mix up with the vehicle booking. I phoned Planet Rental cars, explained the situation and they refunded me in full.
Generally straight-forward to deal with and they manage to find the cheapest deals in the area.

Booked a small car when I arrived at the rental desk, the only small cars they had were automatic, so I had no choice but to accept the Dacia Duster they offered me. The car was fine just a bit bigger than I would have preferred and I was concerned about the missing handbrake which took a bit of getting used to. Overall good service but wished they had had what I booked.

Car slightly damaged in various area on pickup but did the job easy pickup and drop off but not told to pickup a Siam Bus so we waited for a Goby Bus. Would use again tbough

The booking was straightforward and the carhire from EXER at Rhodes airport was perfect. Very friendly and professional service by the Swedish couple working for Exer, who picked up at the airport and took us back afterwards. This was a really painless and reasonably priced carhire and I'll happily use this service again.
