My order
My order, was delivered over two hours after it was placed. This delay is completely unacceptable.
Upon delivery, I specifically asked the driver if the food was hot, to which he replied yes. This was a blatant misrepresentation. Upon opening the order, I found that everything was stone cold. The chips were inedible, as reheating them would only result in a poor texture. The pizza was also completely cold, indicating it had not been freshly prepared and was likely sitting for some time. Even the wings were cold.
I am a regular customer of your establishment, having placed over 60 orders with them in the past. Therefore, I am particularly disappointed with this decline in quality and service. This is not the first time I have experienced issues with cold food; in fact, this has been a problem with my last three orders.
To make matters worse, when I called the restaurant to complain about the state of my order, the person who answered the phone hung up on me. I have since tried to call back multiple times, but no one is answering. This complete disregard for customer service is appalling.
I also contacted Just Eat, the platform I used to place the order, but they informed me that they are unable to assist with this issue and advised me to contact the restaurant directly. This leaves me with no other recourse than to submit this formal complaint.
