I visited Pivot in Covent Garden with high expectations after seeing their website, which presents the restaurant as stylish and refined. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to that image.
The menu was very limited, and the presentation of the dishes was poor, especially considering the prices. Two of the meals arrived at the table first, while the other came noticeably later, which disrupted the dining experience. The pasta dish in particular was mediocre in quality and not memorable in any positive way.
What made the experience worse was the atmosphere after we finished eating. Once the bill was paid, we felt rushed out of the restaurant so that other guests could be seated, which felt impersonal and unwelcoming.
Overall, it was not worth the money, and despite the restaurant’s polished online presence, the actual experience fell well short. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend Pivot based on this visit.
