Didn't initially receive order, but they made it right.

Update: After finding out they had an error on their end they resubmitted my order to be processed and I received the package on Apr 16. They called to acknowledge their mistake and offered me a 30% refund because of my inconvenience. Good on them to make it right.

Initial complaint: I placed my order on March 23 and was told I would receive it in 3-7 days. One week goes bye and I hadn't received a confirmation, receipt, tracking number or anything. I emailed customer support on March 31 asking about my order. I received an automatic response (which is really crappy customer service). It wasn't until 24 hours later that I received a response from what appears to be a real person. That response was basically "we are looking into it and will let you know". 24 Hours went by and I heard nothing so I emailed again. April 3 I finally received an email stating they noticed an error in the shipping address which delayed the order. This is either a lie or an error on your company because I know for a fact the address I provided was 100% accurate. I provided my address again right away. Here we are April 6 and I still have not received a receipt, or any shipping information.

pivo helped very nicely

pivo helped very nicely, reacted fast. We've ordered one and used it and tried all the options. For horses they have extended options to follow the horse and set which type of work you want to record.

Abysmal service.

I did not receive my order, despite months of waiting. Now the Pivo people are ignoring my request for a refund. Zero stars. Do not recommend.

RUN from PIVO POD - Matterport & Support are a JOKE

The score should actually be a minus 100! 4-28-26: I talked to a Saun F around March 23, we had several conversations and he said he would refund me. He also said it sounded like a defective pod and offered to replace. NEITHER has happened. I've even replied to our emails and gotten NO RESPONSE. This company is a joke, the 3-D Matterport tour is clunky, the step-by-step tutorials skip pertinant options, and support in non-existent. Don't waste your money.
MARCH ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been waiting THIRTEEN DAYS for a human response to my issue, and yes, I have followed up frequently to try and get help. I was shooting a 2-story home, first of all, the instructional video does NOT correlate to what you see in the app - I finally figured out how to get the 2nd story started. For whatever reason, after rshooting the upstairs FOUR TIMES and wasting a total of THREE HOURS, the PIVO pod turned off in the very last room of the 2nd floor. It kicked me out (and yes, it was fully charged) and the 2nd floor was not showing in the same file as the first floor. I did find it in drafts, but couldn't figure out how to link it with the visible 1st floor photos/measurements. THERE IS BASICALLY NO SUPPORT. There is no phone number to call and for a product that professionals use IN THE FIELD we should be able to access a chat or phone number to get help while we are having the issue. I want my $617 back because this is infuriating that I cannot get a response and the support email is the only way I have to try and get help and I'm being ignored. I am trying to let REALTORS know what a piece of crap this product is so they don't make the mistake I did and spend good money on it.

Pivo is amazing

I live in a remote area without good riding coaches. I now have an amazing coach through Pivo and it truly is a blessing. I really look forward to my lessons with Dave. He is wonderful, helping me and observing my horse. I would have never known about Pivo if I didn't Google "how to become a less fearful showjumper". My coach has been using Pivo for years, and now I am as well. Thanks so much for making this tool available!

Sales misrepresented this product

Sales misrepresented this product. It was pitched as smooth seamless and easy to use. Specifically to create virtual tours AND floor plans of homes. I found it to be anything but smooth and easy.

The training they promised turned out to be a paid training. The recorded videos online in their support system were all very short clips, had to read FAQs in entirety and thankfully found a full video (which was a recording of a zoom call) that I could follow along.

Finally figured it out and shot a tour. It took the greater part of a day.

After the first time I used the product, I called and expressed my disappointment.

They offer me a training at no charge. I questioned them about the floorplan creation from what was described to me. It was going to be an extremely time-consuming process.

They convinced me to give it another go, just to get me past 30 days. I should have declined and insisted on a refund.

I recently purchased the Pivo and was…

I recently purchased the Pivo and was initially excited about using it to help with video content and marketing. Unfortunately, my experience trying to get started has been frustrating.

The company recently changed their apps, but much of the available training content is outdated. Many of the instructional videos appear to be from 2023 and no longer match the current app interface, which makes it very difficult to follow along and learn how to properly use the product.

In addition, the scheduled training sessions are often months away, which leaves new users without timely support when they are trying to get set up.

Another surprise was discovering that the teleprompter feature requires a separate paid app. This was not disclosed during the presentation at the Triple Play REALTOR Convention & Trade Expo where I purchased the device. For many real estate professionals, the teleprompter is a major reason for buying a product like this, so learning afterward that it requires an additional paid subscription was disappointing.

The hardware itself seems promising, but the onboarding, training resources, and transparency around app features need improvement. I hope the company updates its training materials and provides clearer information so new users can actually take advantage of the technology they are purchasing.

PIVO Stands Behind Their Equipment

PIVO 63"/160cm Extendable Cell Phone & Camera Tripod with Sturdy, Lightweight, Portable, Foldable Stand for Video Recording with Universal 1/4” Thread for DSLR, Smartphone, Action Camera & PIVO Pods

On the advice of our riding coach, we purchased several PIVO products, including the PIVO Max, Power Bank, Smart Mount and this tripod. The other three items are excellent and are very enjoyably doing their jobs as advertised with outstanding results supporting the competitive equestrian in our family. However, our tripod had some issues. Because it took us some time to figure out how to use a new iPhone, and then how to use it with the PIVO equipment, we were well past Amazon's 30-day return/refund window by the time we had these tripod issues. Notwithstanding this timeline, which was entirely our responsibility, when Amazon referred us to PIVO with our tripod issues, the PIVO folks fully stood behind the quality of their tripod. They first offered us a replacement tripod entirely at their cost. However, by then we had already made other arrangements and they then provided a full refund for our tripod purchase. The PIVO tripod is a light, easy to transport, easy to set up and take down model - particularly useful for those who are sharing riding/training spaces or perhaps competing in various locations. We especially appreciate PIVO’s standing behind their product and providing us with a full refund when requested - hence our 5-star review. Many thanks!

Was told a lie by sales rep

I purchased this product at the Glover U Summit. I asked the sales person was there any monthly subscriptions to use all of the features more then once on more then one occasion and was told no. I was so excited to get the device and get to recording only to find out I do need a subscription. I probably would’ve still purchased it if I was told the truth.

I bought it and paid for the extra…

I bought it and paid for the extra training and have not gotten any direction from customer service. The support is non existent. They claim to have webinars to teach you how to use it but its all very unclear. Very disappointed. I would return it if i could.

My code for BigVu app (free with purchase ) was not working , my Pivo would not connect without me subscribing . Eventually the code worked , but now BigVu is continuously trying to take funds out of my acct for 99..99 and now can seem to stop this from happening.

Non existent customer servcies

I purchased the Pivo Pod, it arrived broken, so far I have been trying to get in touch with someone at Pivo for 24 hours and I have not had any luck, I have emailed customer support, filled out the support request form on the website and I messaged both Pivo and Pivo Equestrian on Instagram.

I received automated responses for the email and support form and have been asked for my email address by the instagram accounts which I provided, was promised that someone would personally look into it and get back to me, and you guessed it, they didn't.

So I am currently sat here with a brand new pivo pod, ordered directly from pivo that arrived broken/faulty and I cannot get hold of their customer services to fix the issue, no matter what I try.

So, I'm trying here, as I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Although I cannot currently comment on how the product works, because I have been unable to actually try it as it arrived broken. I would say avoid this product as customer service is non existent, so if something goes wrong, I doubt you'll get any help.

The app didn't work with my new phone

The app didn't work with my new phone. I reached out and got quick responses. Great support, super helpful. Kept to think along and didn't stop until my problem was gone. Products are never perfect, but to have a team that keeps trying to achieve that makes for me the big difference. They worked on this for two months and didn't let it go. Super happy, because I can use the pivo again. Would recommend everyone who has a problem to reach out and be patient. Thanks again to the team.
