Console itself is absolutely brilliant. A truly wonderful bit of kit.

Suffered from huge delay in geting the console, hence cannot go greater than 3 stars, I, like many others, thought I had been scammed and had my money stolen, HOWEVER, it did eventually arrive. And as said above, it is a truly brilliant machine.

They have been quick at getting back to me with any tweaking issues or set up questions. So the after service is there.

So after a little delay the goods turned up and it was so worth the wait,i think if this is your thing and you want to play all those games you loved 20 years ago then get one of these consoles they are superb,just a magic trip down gaming memory lane i love it.i had a little trouble setting up the controllers but the guys helped me with it via email and now i cant put it down.

Delays, emotive emails with narratives, assurances and no product. They refused refund essentially- told me to reclaim money through bank action. Had to take it up with my bank, who refunded me before chasing this false bunch.
Got a Pi on eBay, fully loaded with controllers for a fraction of the cost a few days later.

Ordered the extreme console on 22/10/19 and it arrived 1/11/19. I was a bit sceptical from the reviews here but reading them all it seemed like it was historical issues rather than affecting new orders as the newer reviews are good.
Anyway went with it and can honestly say that replies to my emails were within 24 hours including a Sunday night!
Can't fault the device at all. Setup was quite quick and anything I wasn't sure about was covered in the help section of the website when you log in.
I know several have recommended not to use but for anyone thinking about ordering now then go for it as I genuinely believe that any issues were encountered a year or at least several months ago.

Games are amazing to play again after so many years all 30,000 of them!!!

First and foremost, while the bad reviews are in partly justified, they do not and should not reflect PRG today, they were open and honest throughout the difficult time they faced earlier this year. They were screwed over by a third party who made their lives extremely difficult.

However, with all of the difficulty, the team did not let us down. They kept their promise, they gave options as to proceeding with chargebacks or waiting to hold on. They also provided a costly app with all the games as a peaceoffering gift to help us through the pain of needing to wait so long - a really decent gesture on PRG's part.

I originally chose to hold on, but changed my mind later and proceeded with a chargeback. The team were extremely supportive and outgoing throughout my order process that I had no reservations about placing an order again.

When my placed the order again, they informed of a week's turnaround and the console (placed on the Tuesday) arrived the following Monday. I was up and running within an hour or so, and when I needed help, i popped an email over to the team and I always got a helpful response in a quicker response time than I anticipated. It was like emailing a mate who was ready and waiting to help, quickly.

I've now got a Superior OGST console, with two controllers and I purchased a third party joystick and a USB 4 port extender, all setup and working like a dream. I really am so grateful to Dave, Ben and the rest of the team who have helped me out with what I thought were silly support questions but they were brilliant about it.

If you want to bring back all your memories, playing the games you loved as a kid or whenever you played them, this console is a perfect match. I do recommend that you buy a USB extender with your order if you plan to have at least 1 controller and READ THEIR FAQ first. It seems others just winged it when getting the console, and then got stuck - Read things first you silly billies!

Am now waiting 11 months for an order which I placed last Black Friday (Nov 23rd 2018) and all I have received in that time are countless lies and more lies. I actually can't begin to document all the contradictory lies me and hundreds of others have been spun in the past year. Something I have found out recently though is that when I placed my order there already was a serious backlog of orders from summer 2018, and while they took our money and assured us that we would have our orders before Xmas 2018 they already knew this would not be possible. They are con men, cowboys, lairs and snakes. What they do is have a big sale and make promises they know they can't keep so they can get your money and use it to very, very slowly start clearing orders from months back, while adding your own order away back to the end of a massive queue. This queue itself, as with everything with PRG, is also a lie. I was 13 in it on July 19th 2019 and when I got my next queue number in October this year I had moved back 8 spaces to 21. Another story was spun to me as to why this was, and exasperated I had decided to not make a fuss, but I have recently discovered that they have been sending out orders in quite a random order. There is lots of other evidence also of the lie of this so-called 'queue'. It is all a complete pishtake. When I confronted them on this, and about how they tried to very sneakily hide this from me, all I got was, as usual, obfuscation and denials and them deliberately trying to confuse this situation. Like every other con man I have ever known.

I am begging potential customers, actually begging youse, not to give these cowboys your precious money unless you are into being humiliated and having the complete pish taken out of you. Some of you will no doubt get your order, they do send some machines out, but hundreds of us have been waiting almost or even over a year now for machines that will probably never come. We've been shat on and believe me, their excrement stinks more than most. One star is far too much to give them.

PS: Check out the number of one star reviews they have somehow got put on ice on here - they'd be a two star company on here at most if those reviews were placed back on.

Missing Item which wasnt delivered to be given a story about stock. Asked for a refund on several occasions and they've not given my money back. Im in process on contacting Trading Standards via Citizens Advice.

Well what can I say about pi retro gaming, so after waiting over a month for the console, been given every excuse under the sun why its taking so long, having to chase them just to find out what's actually happening, I plug it in to find that a lot of games just don't load up, the pad keeps losing all connection, I went on kodi and the pad wouldn't work at all, I had to take the power lead out just to get off kodi and when I speak to them about it I get more lies. I was told I would get another sd card sent out to fix the controller and surprise surprise they didn't send one and they haven't got in touch. So I chase them up AGAIN to be told the person I spoke to has now gone away, so I explain everything to the next person and then he blanks me!!! I sent my console back through hermes recorded delivery, and once it was signed for I emailed asking them for my refund to be processed. However, as expected they said they didn't get it!!! Even though it was signed for, they did say the refund would still be sent back but now they're blanking my emails and Instagram messages. All I want now is to get my refund!!! Anyone who reads this before they delete it DON'T BUY ANYTHING OFF PI RETRO GAMING!!!

Ordered the supreme hand held, it’s very well made not cheap tac & the games are as described, would definitely recommend.

I recently bought a Superior Console. I did have a few issues setting it up but the helpline fellows were really helpful & sorted them out for me. An amazing piece of kit, very convenient to have so many consoles emulated via 1 machine. Great and massive selection of games included so it's been in heavy use since and I haven't even scratched the surface. Well worth the time to set up, once done you wont regret it. Very happy with my purchase.

I had a Superior model ordered for a Christmas gift, order made in early December 2018. It cost over £200.

The order has failed to materialise. We have had sporadic emails blaming the supply chain; then emails advising us that we are in a queue; then emails to say that though they continue to advertise and sell new products to new customers, they need to wait for these orders to send out our existing orders.

Since Christmas, my birthday, a family gathering and our anniversary have all passed with no sight of the order.

I have sent several emails (all unanswered) webform enquiry (unanswered) and facebook messenger messages (unanswered).

I have an order, now ten + months old, with no product and no refund.

Sadly, while I wanted to believe I hadn't been conned, I am forced to believe I am the victim of a rogue trader. Please think carefully before placing an order with this company.

PRG - please prove me wrong. Send me my product, refund me or stick to the statute for sale of goods. Just answering a message would be a start.

I intend to take the relevant action with Trading Standards and the small claims court to recoup our costs.

EDIT: In fairness PRG just messaged me to say I am in a queue. Still no product or refund.

EDIT 01/12/19 - Will be 12 months since this was ordered in 8 days. I notice that other customers, who have ordered after me but have "only" waited three to four months are getting theirs within a week. I have absolutely no idea how people like us, who paid over £200 for a product are STILL kept waiting for a product.

There are many people like me and there are Facebook groups sharing the stories , please have a look and do not buy from these compulsive liars ! They have tried to have this review removed, like many others and this can all be seen in social media groups , with people having the same if not worse issues as I am

Fantastic console. Would recommend to buy. Loads of games for everyone to enjoy. Customer service is also out of this world. Very helpful and great.

Started off well then I moved house and when I plugged console in and it just wouldn’t work. Guys started off helpful saying to send it back to look at. As it cost £200 odd I sent it recorded delivery which was signed for at the address they gave. Waited two weeks an nothing contacted them they said they never received it but it would show up. Waited while longer same reply again gave them all the recorded, signed for info and they said the guy who signed for it doesn’t work there. Still pointed out that’s their fault at not having a secure office site (even though I wasn’t buying that answer) then they started ignoring me and finally I acted like a new customer wanting to buy something they replied instantly. When I pointed out who I was they said it’s the post offices fault not theirs.
DO NOT ORDER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THEY ARE CROOKS.

Very good for the price . I’m rubbish at understanding how to work stuff . I got the ultimate retro console . Some games don’t work and I haven’t properly figured out how to change disks yet. The Commodore 64 games seem to play at a really fast speed and I don’t know how to sort that but I’m sure I’m just a bit thick . The PS1 , SNES , NES , master system and megadrive games are all bang on . I really like it . The customer help seems really friendly and helpful .

It’s not perfect, but for the price I think it’s good value.

Purchased a Superior console having bought two arcade consoles previously (one for me and one as a gift) unfortunately had a delay on this system due to a supplier issue that has affected several customers. After several regular updates company recommended that I get a chargeback from my bank and reorder the product.

I was initially a bit sceptical but did as requested as I have bought items previously and have always been given honest updates and advice regarding products. I’m glad I did as I received my product on reorder within 10 working days. I would recommend that anyone who is still waiting and has been offered the chargeback option should do so as I got money back following day from bank.

Although it’s been a bit frustrating to get the console through no fault of the company. I felt I would give them a second chance as they are in a very difficult situation and are doing their best to resolve it.

The product itself is fantastic. Picture and sound quality 99% fantastic, there are a few glitchy screens and sounds on rare occasion, but I have seen similar things on a much larger scale with equivalent emulators. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend buying one. If you are put off by price I have had cheaper arcade systems from this company which have all been of high quality and certainly recommended.

Having a great time playing my superior console at the minute and the amount of games is fantastic! I did have to wait quite a while for it to arrive after placing my order but I can honestly say that it is worth the wait.
Bought mostly for PS1 titles and I can honestly say, I have never seen PS1 games displayed in better resolution than through these kind of systems. Had a few questions getting to grips with the settings and messaged PRG regarding them and was quickly answered.

PRG keep reporting my reviews but this doesn't change the fact that, despite how good their website is and how they fake positive experiences, Pi Retro Gaming are unable to deliver upon their promises.

Not only did my order not arrive when I was told it would, they failed to keep me properly informed and, when I asked for a refund, ignored me, deleted my messages, reported my reviews, and have done nothing but make excuses ever since.

All they had to do was refund me but they apparently prefer negative word to spread about them, to ignore Trading Standards, and to want to go through the small claims court.

Nothing but bad service and poor performance all around; just avoid completely and try Retro Systems instead.
