SOFFITS AND BOARDS - A JOB WELL DONE.

I had Pinefield Glass in to replace my soffit's and boards with uPVC ones as life is too short to paint the wooden ones every few years. The job was completed over 5 days by two young men who turned up each day at 08:30 on the dot and cracked on in an efficient manner throughout. The one slight issue was that they ran out of materials so there was a week or so between day three and day four. That is the only reason for dropping to four stars - that aside it would be five stars all the way. Also, a mention for Errin and Kylie in the office who were very helpful and friendly in emails and phone calls.

Very happy to recommend.

What can I say 5 star job

What can I say 5 star job from Pinefield glass. I asked for a price for the house to be done, 16 windows ,front door and patio doors . They came out when they said they would. Price was given and we agreed a deal. They said they would come in 6 weeks to do the job and it would take 3 to 4 days. Anyway they had some lads finish on another job early so when they turned up ( on the day they said they would) there was 5 vans and 10 lads. They did the hole job in a day with just 2 lads needing to pop back to finish a bit of snagging the next day. Honestly they made no mess at all , no damage to the inside plaster or outside Harling of the house which I was expecting a bit as house is 200 years old and I am in the building game and sometimes it can not be helped. The lads just got on with the job, the quality of there work was spot on so no complaints at all there. The only thing I would say is if you are getting doors fitted, insist on 3 START locks, it will only put £60 on the job and they are insurance approved. I took the locks out and put in 3 star locks myself as was not happy with the TL budget locks, just wish when ordering they said would you like to up grade the barrels as its a no brainer and really is on £60 to £70 more for all 3 locks. Other than that we are 100% happy with the work carried out. Great company to deal with, staff are polite and very helpful. And the finish on the job is spot on. Highly recommended

Find another supplier.

Pinefield Glass in Elgin, Moray, Scotland.

First window arrived with the frame scratched all over.

Second window arrived in the wrong orientation. Grudingly accepted and had it installed. First opening of the window resulted in two keeps dropping and the screws snapped.

10 days after being told someone would come out, I've fixed it myself and I'm here to tell you to avoid them.

Clearly they don't check what's going out after receiving from their suppliers.
