Peace can be professional, but she can also be incredibly disrespectful, lacks self-awareness, and is unable to provide a safe environment for people who do not think like her. I find her extremely judgmental and she, like many therapists, lacks bias training and assumes that her assumptions are facts.
She exhibited a really poor attitude during our last session, which proved to me once again that she was not the ideal therapist for me.
When we were talking about motherhood and dating the first time, she had the audacity to laugh and say I wasn't ready for that. I should have known then that even though I told her that I didn't want any questions about motherhood or dating, she would later ask me when I would be ready for dating, which irritated me(and obviously crossed my boundary).
For the past 16 years of my life , I have been physically beaten, sexually abused, and harassed on a yearly basis by men , only for an idiot like her to ask me when I would be ready to date?
When she was aware that I am easily triggered by men, that I have no dating experience and no plan on dating a man so the subject should never have come up in my therapy session but because of her values/biases she absolutely wanted to insert that subject in my therapy session no matter what ? And that's 16 years of experience ? Is this how a therapist builds trust in their clinic after 16 years of being a therapist ?
It took me years to decide to cut ties with my family, and I would only feel comfortable discussing that matter with someone I trust and have known for years, not with a poorly trained therapist with a nasty attitude. She had the audacity to ask me if I was sure I didn't want to see my family in the future , thus condoning cruelty , physical , emotional and mental abuse in her patient life .This matter is very private and I decide who can be in my life or not not anyone else in the world .
In addition, she insisted on using a closed-eye exercises to guide me back to a painful memory, even though I had informed her that this was one of the reasons I had quit the previous therapist and was there for talking therapy only.
Despite knowing only a tenth of my life experience, she believed she had a solid conceptualisation of me ,incredibly strange for someone claiming to be an experienced therapist. In my humble opinion, a therapist should never assume and always ask questions which many unfortunately fail to do .She also has the extremely odd tendency of speaking with two distinct tones in her voice.
I recently broke up with my therapist, and the professionalism with which she handled it got me to reflect on Peace's extremely nasty attitude during our last session and the trauma she caused me overall. However, I accept responsibility for having continued to see and pay for a therapist who was not the right fit for me from the very beginning .
She is trying to take down my comment. lol , trust me , I can't tolerate the truth either .
Very rarely do I complete surveys but I have to say . Peace is brilliant, respectful, listens and just gets me. Makes sense logically of the reasons why?
My friends have seen a difference since I decided to see a Therapist. Would fully recommend.

My experience with Piece Into Piece (ongoing) is an extremely positive one. I'm late middle-aged, and felt so 'stuck' and overwhelmed by negativity and stress, I felt my life was going nowhere. My therapist, Julie is taking me to a better place. I am truly grateful
