Its not perfect but nowhere else has such a structured approach to teaching. The tutors are all pretty stellar and I sense a real effort has gone into creating a holistic site for people who want to explore genres or techniques. I've tried most of the competitors and most are not geared much beyond beginner except Truefire but there is no progressive courses really on there. I would really recommend Pickup as the best out there today. Its very competitively priced too for what you get. I recommend getting an all access for a year and really explore .

Recently joined Pickup and loving it so far, the beginner pathway was awesome, very well planned and well taught. I found recording a performance at the end of each stage a great way to test my skills and see what I need to improve on. Thanks Team

Learning guitar with Pickup Music has been a lot of fun. I find the lesson structure very effective, and the teachers are superb musicians and very motivating.

I can't say enough positives about this site! As a private instructor and performing musician, it's really helped me gain confidence explaining more advanced material to my students and has given me loads more confidence with arpeggios and modes (as just a few examples). Definitely money well spent!

I am an intermediate guitar player having been playing for ~8 years. I have subscribed to a few online courses and have watched countless YouTube videos over the years to learn the fretboard. The CAGED system pathway that I am on right now with Pickup Music is exceptional and is hands-down the best program on the internet!

im really enjoying the jazz pathway. Explanations are great, and exercises help to understand and internalize the concepts and skills. I recommend to take your time for each grade though.

I am an intermediate player 62 years old that always really wanted to play better. I've never had lessons but seen plenty of videos. This site is the best I have seen. I started at beginner on the pickup site as if i had never played before and wish I had found this years ago. My granddaughter is starting guitar, and this will be perfect for her as you can play along with band. It is very tuitorial and easy understanding.

Great lessons, properly arranged and with plenty of supportive content like coloured charts easy to memorise, top view of great board for easy recognition of notes and properly structured

The lessons in the beginner pathwat are well paced. The performance pieces and exercises are based on popular songs, so from the very start you feel as if you are accomplishing something. I feel a lot more confident on the guitar and my skill level is definitely improved.

It been almost 1 month and I think it is the best learning tool that I've ever tried for guitar learning. The pathways are amazing with a lot of hands on practice and I'm definitely making tons of progress in my learning journey on the instrument. I would definitely recommend it to anyone learning to improve on guitar, whatever your skill level.

The learning pathways are unlike any other program I've used before. Its everything Ive always wanted to stay motivated. I love the warmup section on pickupmusic too.

I love that I can take this at my own pace, re-visit any grade and get personal feed back on the songs that you learn through out the course. There are some challenges that have pushed me to think of what I'm doing like what notes I'm hitting while learning the same triads that can be used all over the fret board. I recommend if you are looking for a good push and want to take your time to digest everything!

I'm a self taught 76 year old 5 years into learning guitar. I stumbled onto Pickup a few weeks ago when I was looking for guidance about the CAGED system. The Caged class taught by Molly Miller is well organized and thoughtful. The material is challenging for my ancient brain but Molly has obviously spent a great deal time putting this class together and I am making progress. There are so many classes to choose from on the site that it could be easy for me to bounced around but having great choices is a good thing. The production values are excellent. I'll be using this site for a while.

Seth is a great instructor. As with many of the courses sometimes the performance pieces seem a little advanced but it’s incentive to not rush through.

Very thorough and detailed. Well thought out learning process. I’m sticking with it and I’m really getting the power of CAGED.
