No1 Worst Airline/Customer Service

As a travel agent, i refuse to deal with these joke people.
Disgrace to the country, should all be charged with treason. Customer service does not exist. Airline should be banned altogether indefinitely. Disgrace

One of the worst airline

One of the worst airline. I booked wheel chair assistance for my mother but they had no staff for it and said it's your mistake as you dont have a medical certificate but it was not mentioned any where, so had to wait for two hours to get assistance plus assistant asked for extra money to bring luggage in as per him that was not his duty.
And keep in mind no one would pick their as thwir all numbers are busy everytime.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Pakistan International Airlines. Their customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue, they told me to visit the airline office in person, even though the office is two hours away from my home. Customers should not have to waste time and money just to get basic support after purchasing a ticket.
The airline is expensive, yet the service is irresponsible and unprofessional. They delay responses, ignore customer concerns, and make the refund process very difficult. In my experience, they do not value their customers at all. I would strongly recommend travelers choose another airline, even if the ticket costs more, because better customer service and reliability are worth it.

My first experience with PIA was very disappointing. At check‑in, I was charged AED 150 for my 9 kg hand carry, and even my laptop bag was weighed and included, which felt unfair. Inside the aircraft, the cabin was hot and had a bad smell, the female crew members were rude and impolite, and my seat was loose and kept shaking. Overall, the service was poor and uncomfortable from start to finish

PIA stands for Pain In the Ass

PIA stands for Pain In the Ass. We travelled from Heathrow to Islamabad recently on Economy Plus. Paid £1500. There was no media entertainment nor was there a phone charger. This is Economy plus, what would standard economy be like. The plane looked at least 20 years old. When we complained to PIA head office few days later, they actually swore at me and blocked me. The worst flight experience in my life. If you don’t believe me, book with PIA for your next trip! I will be taking this matter with ABTA and airline ombudsman.

Reality of PIA

pakistans most trusted and known airline made my flying experience a living hell. The most uncomfortable 8-hour flight I had back from Qatar to Pakistan, Qatar Airlines provided every necessity. Despite paying the full cost, they charged me for lunch, in which I got nothing but peanuts and some sandwiches. They were not up to the mark, but the crew was well-mannered puppets

Worst Travel Experience – Stressful, Unprofessional, and Completely Disappointing

This was honestly one of the worst and most stressful travel experiences of my life with Pakistan International Airlines, and something I will not forget.

A day before my flight, I started facing issues and tried to contact their customer service for help. I called continuously for around 3 hours on two different numbers, but no one answered. On the day of the flight, I again spent another 3 hours calling — still no response. I sent emails, but they were completely ignored. When I tried messaging them, I was shocked to find myself blocked. At that point, I felt completely helpless and unsupported.

At the airport, things only got worse. The boarding process was extremely disorganised. The staff member handling it seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing, and it took nearly 50 minutes just to complete boarding. We were left rushing and stressing, barely managing to catch the flight at the very last moment.

Unfortunately, the experience onboard was just as disappointing. The cabin crew, especially two air hostesses, were very rude and lacked basic manners. Their behaviour towards passengers was unacceptable. Despite asking multiple times, they didn’t even provide a simple glass of water. It felt like passengers were being ignored completely, and there was no sense of care or professionalism.

From the moment I tried to seek help before the flight to the treatment onboard, the entire journey was filled with frustration, stress, and disappointment. This experience has completely broken my trust, and I would never choose to travel with them again.

Direct flight from Islamabad to Heathrow Airport

Direct flight from Islamabad to Heathrow direct flight was a luxurious experience for us. In 7 hours 20 minutes direct flight arrived in London. From check-in to boarding, everything was smooth and well-organised. The staff were helpful and professional, making the journey comfortable and stress-free, variety of food option for everyone. Free WiFi to access their entertainment Service on personal devices. I would definitely recommend it. Pakistan and PIA zindabad

I booked a flight over 4months ago to go from Islamabad to Gilgit on the 7th of May. I received a email last night confirming my flight was canceled with no explication,..just that I had to contact the PIA customer service.
I've just contacted them and the person I had on the phone just bluntly said that PIA will not provide a alternative or a refund.
As a european I am honestly shocked.

I wish I could give 0 stars

I wish I could give 0 stars. This has been one of the worst airline experiences I’ve ever had.

I arrived at the airport 1 hour and 30 minutes before departure, only to be told that the check-in desk was already closed. This is completely unacceptable, especially when your own policy clearly states that check-in closes 1 hour before departure.

Because of this, I was forced to rebook another flight at my own expense, which cost me additional money and caused significant inconvenience.

Trying to get a refund has been just as frustrating. There is no clear or reliable way to contact customer service. The website directs me to email, the email tells me to call a Karachi number, and every time I call, I either get disconnected or receive no proper assistance. I’ve also been told I can request a refund online, but there is no visible option to do so.

This entire experience reflects extremely poor customer service, lack of accountability, and a complete breakdown in communication. It is unacceptable for an international airline to operate this way.

Not proud of being a Pakistani, i'd rather be an Indian at least they know what customer service is. Shame on you PIA for putting your customers through hell!

Cheap and usless airline.

Cheap services, Usually delayed or cancelled flights, very low standard airline. no compensation for th lost or left behind luggages, cancelled and delayed flights, even the airlines never regret for its cheap and low standard services. the airline does not want to even try to improve the standard.
my advice to the the Pakistanis not to travel through PIA at all.

As soon as I entered the plane bad smell was coming from the e washroom. Food was of very bad quality. They were just throwing the food on the person sitting on the isle and that person had to hand over to us.Wheel chair service was really bad. They were treating every one like herd of sheep. They were very rude and slow,so i decided to walk slowly. I travel a lot never seen these kind of service .Decided never to fly PIA and will never advice to do this mistake. it is a long journey and so painful.

Such worst experience we had

Such worst experience we had. Never shall we travel again in this airline nor shall we recommend it to anyone. The staff was very illiterate, lacked basic manners and was very very rude. Suggestion for them is to atleast choose those stewards who have some basic manners and not bring up their internal hostillity towards passengers and behave such ill-mannerly. Besides that, the aircraft was internally damaged and faced alot of turbulence aswell.

Islamabad to Manchester

I wanted to share my experience on the PIA flight from Islamabad to Manchester on 17th February 2026 because it genuinely changed my view of the airline.

About two hours into the flight my grandfather’s oxygen levels suddenly dropped quite drastically. We had brought our own pulse oximeter with us as a precaution so we were able to notice the issue quickly. As soon as we informed the cabin crew one male crew member whose name I unfortunately cannot remember stepped in straight away and was extremely helpful.

PIA had two oxygen cylinders available on board which they immediately provided for my grandfather to use. From what I understand airlines are not actually required by law to carry oxygen for passengers in this way so this was a huge reassurance for us. What impressed me even more was the level of care this crew member showed afterwards. He did not just hand us the oxygen and leave. He kept checking on my grandfather throughout the flight and spoke to him regularly and made sure he was comfortable. That level of attention made a very stressful situation much easier for our family.

To be honest I did not expect this level of service from PIA. When you read online reviews or see comments on social media people often focus on things like the in-flight entertainment not working or seats looking worn. But when something serious actually happens on a flight those things really do not matter.

PIA may not be on the same luxury level as some of the big Middle Eastern airlines and if someone is specifically looking for that type of premium experience then those airlines might be a better choice. But if you want a direct flight and want to support the national airline of Pakistan you should definitely consider booking with PIA.

A few other positives are worth mentioning. The cabin crew in general were friendly and approachable. The food was very good and there were plenty of options to choose from. Overall the flight itself was comfortable and smooth.

Most importantly when you or your family are facing a serious issue at that height where home is far away the food seats and entertainment options do not matter. You simply want to land safely. This was the first time I have ever experienced something like this and I have flown many times before. It truly changed my perspective on what actually matters in life and during a plane journey.
