Dear Mohammed,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to address the claims made here with full transparency, as the account presented does not accurately reflect what occurred. We only recently became aware of this review, which is why we are responding now.
Your total order (Invoice #15017) was $2,103.68 USD, which included products and shipping, not $3,000 as stated in your review. It is also worth noting that before placing your order, you raised concerns about pricing and our team walked you through the distributor price list in full. You confirmed the prices looked good and signed a distribution agreement before proceeding. The day your order shipped, you wrote to us: "You are really a professional company."
You requested a return not due to any product defect or fault on our part, but because you were having difficulty selling the items at a profit in the Canadian market, which you stated in your own words via email. We accommodated your return request as a goodwill gesture.
We covered the return shipping and customs documentation costs on your behalf. Unfortunately, the cleansers in your shipment were not adequately secured for international transit and leaked during return, causing damage to the surrounding products. This was confirmed upon inspection when the package arrived at our facility. We sent you the pictures of how we received your returns shipment and a full written inspection report. These were provided to you in writing on June 26, July 5, and September 15, 2023.
We issued a refund of $558.00 USD for the items that were received in resalable condition. For the damaged items, we filed a claim with UPS on your behalf, which was ultimately denied by UPS. We communicated this outcome to you directly in writing.
Regarding your request to have the damaged items returned to you: we want to note that your initial written request upon receiving the inspection report was to have the damaged products sent back so you could sell them, not for personal use as later claimed. Regardless of the stated purpose, we were unable to ship back products that had been compromised by leaking cleansers, as doing so would be inconsistent with our quality and safety standards.
We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations. However, we must respectfully clarify that Phyto-C Skin Care acted in good faith at every stage of this transaction, accommodating a non-policy return, absorbing shipping costs, and pursuing a UPS claim on your behalf.
