Photo Explorers is a creative photography programme for children aged 5–11, delivered through after-school clubs, holiday camps, workshops, and special events across schools and community venues. We combine real photography skills with play, creativity, and confidence-building. Children learn how to use cameras safely, explore light, colour, patterns, and storytelling, and turn their photographs into keepsakes such as photo albums, cards, and creative projects they’re proud to take home. Our sessions are led by trained photography instructors and assistants, all of whom hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training. Children’s safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment are always at the heart of everything we do. My son was over the moon to start Harriet’s photography club, and his delight has never abated. He looks forward to Thursdays so much, and I love hearing about what he has done and learnt, and the way it is encouraging him to be more aware of what he sees around him. An absolute treasure of a school club!
