WARNING: Keep your fur babies far from here!
We dropped our 3 little Shih-tzu's off for 3 days. We went over every detail about our babies and said they were very shy and do not need to participate in group activities. We were called on the second day stating our babies didn't seem to be interested in eating which is what happens when they get stressed out. We reminded the girl who called that we packed a ton of snacks that they like and were free to give them this. When we returned to pick them up, we saw that none of there snacks were opened and when we called them, they said they tried giving them canned tuna. The oldest of the 3 came home very very sick that required an ER visit because she had extremely bloody stools and vomiting. The other 2 much younger ones also had major diarrhea, but seemed to recover from whatever they caught at this facility. WARNING to all, these are young adults you are putting your babies care in their hands. They do not seem to be equally trained in any of the facilities programs. We also paid to have photos of our babies sent to us each day and when we didn't receive any, we were told that the intake girl forgot to put it in the notes that we pre-purchased this service. We spent $1274 at the ER for our oldest one (10 years old) because of either a lack of cleanliness in their surroundings at the facility OR the fact that they took it upon themself to offer our babies canned tuna WITHOUT our permission and that may have been expired. They are going to respond to this review with an apology for what happened and what THEY CAUSED, but I urge you to read their reviews as they clearly keep making the same mistakes and we personally will NEVER return here and will ensure everyone we know to seek other options before coming here. They clearly do not take our babies safety seriously or this wouldn't keep happening!
Disappointing Experience at PetParadise
My experience with PetParadise was extremely frustrating—after waiting weeks for a response, I received no helpful follow-up, my pet’s booking was mishandled, and hidden service fees appeared at checkout. Their lack of communication and transparency left me feeling misled and ignored. I cannot recommend their service.
Absolutely NO Customer Service!
I ordered a dog ball launcher and the website description was a little confusing, making me believe this accepted standard size tennis balls - well it doesn't and the largest ball this takes is too small for my large do - he'll eat it! I have reached out to them on four different occasions to return the item as it has not even been opened and they REFUSE to reply to me AT ALL! It also took over two weeks to get to me.
Not feeding pets.
This is the second time my wife has taken our two small Maltese dogs for day play time. My complaint is that while they were in the care of this place, they did not feed them all day. We always provide food and snacks for their stay, but they still were not feed. Totally irresponsible. And this is the second time this has happened. Unless we get an apology for their actions and some sort of consideration. We will not be using this facility in the future. Michael G.
Poorest of the poor ran company around
Poorest of the poor ran company around. They have no clue as what their doing and if they don’t like you are the dog they will fabricate a problem to force you to quit coming.
Job well done
March 2025 - received daughter dog to look after for a month and he looked a little shabby.
Booked him in for a grooming with Joanne’s Pooch Paradise, the had him for a little under two hours and what a difference looks like a new and clean dog.
He is friendly but boisterous so can’t have been easy but was a well done job.
Highly recommended

The service was very bad
The service was very bad. I was waiting at the reception and they looked at us but no one attended to us. After they attended to me, a person came out to greet us for my dog's grooming and then found 2 knots on her and said that they were going to charge us 20 dollars for every 15 minutes that they take with the knots. I asked how much that would be and they answered that they didn't know. In other words, if they take 1 hour with two knots I would have to pay 80 dollars plus the grooming. This is the first and last time I go there. Only think about money.
NEVER AGAIN
I was traveling this past weekend to a family members wedding and had to board my dogs for the 1st time ever. I picked Pet Paradise facility that was close to the airport we were traveling to/ from. I gave them the ages, weights, sizes, vaccine records and they sent me a quote for $530 which i paid in full at drop off. The morning we returned home we drove straight to the facility (20 mins) from the airport. We arrive and are told we owe another $143 . I asked what the charges were for as our boarding was prepaid in full. The young man at the counter had no explanation. He guessed that possibly the charges were more because the stay involved a holiday. I explained that the pricing was requested and priced out for these particular dates and never changed. I asked to speak to a manager. He said there was no manager there until 2 pm . It was a nasty rain storm we had been traveling for 12 hours and still had another 3 hr trip home by car. I told him I needed to get on the road to please get my dogs and have the manager call me when they got in. He refused , and refused to give me back my pets unless I gave him the extra money still with no explanation of what the additional charges were. Not a huge amount of money but it's definitely not sitting right with me. I feel like they were holding my dogs for ransom and if I wanted to leave with my dogs I had to pay him. Im pretty upset . If they tell me it's a certain price. email an invoice and I pay in full that should have been the end of it. No effort on the part of the employee. Just an ultimatum pay the fees with no explanation or leave without your pets. Despicable. Never again.
DO NOT EVER BOARD YOUR DOG HERE.
DO NOT EVER BOARD YOUR DOG HERE.
I boarded my dog over thanksgiving and then over Christmas.
Over thanksgiving they gave him back to me soaking wet saying they didn’t have time to groom him even though I scheduled his boarding in June for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Today Dec.27 I was on my way home when I got a call saying they “lost” my dogs food and he didn’t have any for yesterday or today. So you mean to tell me that my dog didn’t get fed for 2 DAYS!!! So I’m alright on fire and go up there to get him. When I brought him home I noticed within the first 5 min that he was licking his elbow so I took a look and both of his elbows were bloody and skinned. I called up there and of course per usual no one answered. I also called 4 separate times on Christmas Day and left 3 messages and not one time did anyone return my call. This place is a joke and has a bunch of teenagers running it.
If we could give zero stars we would
If we could give zero stars we would. We booked our cat for the weekend of Dec 20-23 back in July at the Cary location. We paid the deposit, etc at that point. Today, the day before we depart, they tell us they can't board her because she's overdue for a vaccine. They should have advised us at booking that we'd need to get that current, not wait until its too late. We will definitely not recommend this location to anyone. Very poor management.
WINTER GARDEN PET PARADISE: DONT BOARD SENIOR DOGS HERE.
This place is not good for senior dogs. Avoid it for boarding if you have a senior dog. We boarded our 3 Shih Tzu’s on October 8th, late afternoon and collected them on October 16th in the morning. During that time, we communicated by email and they confirmed that all dogs were doing great, except that all 3 had diarrhea, to which they stated that they would feed them pumpkin. We choose this place as it has an onsite Veterinarian. Plus, we provided our own pet food to avoid any problems. Our senior dog was in great shape prior to boarding.
Upon collection on the morning of October 16th, our senior dog had clearly lost weight, her ribs were visible, she was lethargic, her eyes were closed stuck with eye discharge and she was covered in diarrhea. We took her to the vet on the 17th and after weighing her she was 8 pounds. Prior to boarding, she was 10.06 pounds, over a 20% weight loss in 8 days. Her primary vet reported on the general workup form that it was due to “suspected acute kidney injury due to poss toxin/pathogen exposure” She was transferred from her primary vet to UF in Gainesville and spent 3 days in there. She had elevated kidney levels, along with a UTI.
I advised Pet Paradise that I was not happy about the treatment received on October 18th and they asked us to forward the blood work results, which I did on October 19th, since then, they have gone silent. They have not had the decency to follow up, so I feel that this boarding facility does not really care about the animals, they only care about the $$.
Our dog had the Librela injection on October 3rd which was her 4th injection, so I understand her condition could have been an adverse effect. (search online if your pet is having these injections) HOWEVER, they failed to notice her dramatic weight loss, ensure she was eating, drinking and take care of her to an acceptable standard. They even have an onsite vet, to which we approved treatment if needed on the initial paperwork, yet again they failed to take proper care of her.
In my opinion, considering what happened to my senior dog. Avoid this place if you care for your pets.
Very underhanded
Editing! This is NOT Pet Paradise's fault, its an add that showed up on their website. Be very careful!
This add is very underhanded. I was in on a drawing for something and I got charged $8.99 for shipping and a day later got charged $78.21 to be entered into MORE opportunities to win. Except I didn't authorize ANYTHING...
Poor Grooming Experience - Do Not Go Here
I made an appointment on August 19th for my dog to get groomed. Every day I logged in to get an earlier appointment and was able to move it up to today 10/17 at 10 am.
I got reminders on multiple occasions and reminders about vaccines. All completed, uploaded and his pic as well.
I arrive today and they check us in. Place looks clean - Cody is excited but nervous. He's a 10+ year old Golden who has always been groomed by people coming to the house. I've been looking for a groomer since I moved here in 2021 and my daughter goes here and recommended y'all. I've also been trying to get an appointment for my other Golden but the grooming is always booked out for months.
Anyway, I arrive, they come out to ask me what I had signed up for - I didn't remember what it was called and said haircut, bath, nails, etc. I was also hoping Cody liked it so I could change vets. Well no more. I was told they could only provide a bath b/c he wasn't on the groomers calendar. WHAT??? They said it only says "grooming" but not what kind. What does grooming mean to you? Did it say "bath"? I can do a bath at home for free. The alternative was they 'might' be able to do it later but he'd have to stay all day and wait and see. He's a 10+ year old dog to which I gave his anxiety meds this morning and you want him to be in a cage all day??? Are you kidding me? Do they know anything about dogs?? How unprofessional that no one in almost 2 months could even bother to call and verify. What kind of incompetence is there?!?! Makes me happy that I found out now. Maybe they should hire professionals.
They should be embarrassed by this sheer incompetence and unprofessionalism displayed. They blamed it on their app booking online. Don't allow it if they are aware this happens. DUH!
ALMOST 2 MONTHS PEOPLE! 2 MONTHS of waiting!!!
Shave Instead of Brush.
Heidi, my miniature schnauzer, went in for a "full groom". I guess "full groom" means shave all their hair off including the beard. Horrible. I think a chihuahua has more coat than my poor Heidi. They said it was matted. If she was matted that bad, you should call the owner BEFORE you take drastic measures - I would have brought her home and used a groomer with patience. No more pet paradise for me.
Chase's first grooming experience
Took my jack russell Cross miniature fox terrier for a bath and general pampering.
Nails, ears ,glands and bath n blow dry.
The ladies in there were lovely and were brilliant with the little fella. Came home looking fab and smelling lovely
I had high hopes...
I made a reservation online to board my two dogs July 5 to July 7, 2024. I also scheduled grooming for both. I provided pictures of both dogs just after they were groomed elsewhere and asked that they mirror those images.
When I made the reservation, I had to pay a deposit and was given a dollar amount of what would be due when I picked them up. It ended up costing me $200 more than what was quoted. About $500 for standard boarding accommodations and for grooming.
When I went back to pick up my dogs, I was standing so my back was facing the door they came out of. I quickly turned my head to glance back and I did not recognize them at all - I was actually like, wow those are ugly dogs! Of course when I looked again and saw that they were running toward me, I realized they were my dogs. They had been completely shaved. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever witnessed and was NOTHING like the pictures I provided them. I knew if I opened my mouth, I was going to say some very ugly things to the staff, so I grabbed their leashes and left. I am just now posting this because I have calmed down enough (two months later) that I though I could keep from being ugly.
In addition to everything else, both dogs developed kennel cough while at Pet Paradise. Clearly I do not recommend this place. I wanted to warn others so you too are not surprised like I was.
Woodstock Pet Paradise is the best…
Woodstock Pet Paradise is the best place for my dog ever. She loves going there and the staff if excellent.
Unsafe Kennels - dog broke leg alone in kennel
Unsafe conditions! Our dog got her "paw stuck" in the kennel door and broke her leg! Don't let this happen to your pet!
They are only as good as the people they hire!
My dog had marks across the top of both paws and three small cuts on the top of his head. No intelligent response from Pet Paradise. I hope they didn’t do something that will damage his confidence about going there.
I can handle the truth but not lies!
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff and/or policies at Pet Paradise in Odessa, Florida are incompetent and unwise. I took our newly rescued shelter dog there for a facility tour earlier in the week, and he was feisty but not aggressive, which they saw. I let them know that I had no idea how my dog would react in a group dog setting but that he had never shown any aggression toward another dog on his walks, just overexcitement. Today, I took my dog there for the free day/assessment. To introduce him to other dogs, while they put him in a fenced-in area by himself, there was a HUGE pack on the other side of the chain-link fence. He overreacted and ran at the fence, then the dogs all reacted, things accelerated to the point where he actually ended up biting one of the dogs through the fence. How irresponsible to let a dog off leash to react to such an overwhelming amount of dogs for him without protecting him or them by restraining him, or at least trying with a couple of calm dogs to start? Now I am $725 poorer because I had to pay the poor dog's vet bill because of their stupidity. I would not trust them to properly care for your dog.
