Petgevity insurance for my small dog
I've not had to use my insurance and hopefully going forward I never will but if I did I am confident that the cover I have with Petgevity will make things less stressful. I have used the online vet service for advice which is a great addition if you are unsure if an issue warrants a vet visit. The price is comparable with others so I have decided to stay with Petgevity

FirstVet is available to all Petgevity policyholders once their cover has started. The service can provide advice, treatment recommendations, and referrals to a local vet practice if needed. I am sorry to hear that you did not receive your renewal quote. Renewal invitations are usually sent at least 21 days before the renewal date. I have contacted the relevant department to check whether the renewal documents were issued and will review this further. In some cases, these emails can be filtered into spam or junk folders.

Probably the best pet insurance I've had
Have had pet insurance with many companies over the years and this one is by far the best experience all round. Sufficient cover for a pup with allergies and really well priced. Barely increases each year and so easy to deal with

I took out cover for my cat as they…
I took out cover for my cat as they said on the proposal that he was covered for an existing condition, wasn't cheap but nonetheless wanted him covered for it, upon reading the policy he actually wasn't covered! I called to question this and he was not covered so I cancelled the policy same day, fair play they refunded all the money no questions

We're sorry to hear that you feel our coverage did not meet your expectations regarding pre-existing conditions.
We look at providing pre-existing medical cover, but like most insurance providers we need to go through a quote to establish what level of cover we can offer. Each pets medical situation is unique, and has a different level of seriousness.
After you have declared the conditions on your quote it states whether the pre-existing medical can be covered by us. We try to make it as clear as possible so that you can see this on your quote before proceeding to purchase. On this occasion your pets medical unfortunately declined, and we were not able to include this.
We are happy to hear that the cancellation process was quick and simple, and you are more than welcome to get a quote with us again in the future!

My online quote failed
My online quote when retrieved same day could not be confirmed on the website as the payment page would continually loop back even after verify code was entered. I then tried the live chat who suggested I cleared all cookies which just logged me out of the chat session. Then I tried to requote after all cookies cleared only to encounter the same problems. Finally after 45 minutes on the phone the very helpful agent managed to retrieve & confirm the quote even with a very small reduction of the premium. I just hope any claim process is not so fraught in the future. Time will tell but the lifetime existing conditions quote was a decent saving from my existing cover which had skyrocketed under LV after 10 years. Fingers x
