I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism shown by Peter Barry Surveyors when carrying out a Level 2 RICS survey on a property I am looking to purchase.

The report was very thorough and came with a reasonable valuation. I would highly recommend their services.

As a first time buyer who needed a survey, I have to say that every person I emailed with (Finlay, Joanne) was really helpful, friendly and gave me lots of information. It was organised quickly and the report came through in a very reasonable time frame too (5 working days). It was detailed and you can see it was done diligently by someone experienced and thorough (Thanks to Shaun). It was reassuring to also have someone reply quickly and offer help at every stage. Thank you all.

Surveyor was great.
The back office were rude and didn't reply to emails I spent too much time trying to chase them and wait for calls back.

I was really impressed by the efficiency of these Surveyors.I used them for Party Wall dealings,and I should like to say that I found Katie and Trina so friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects.

I requested a breakdown of costs, as I was told the costs seemed unusually high. I wrote a polite letter requesting a breakdown of costs and was met with a patronising email and then a letter threatening court action if I didn't make immediate payment.
**Update** - the response below is quite revealing, containing more information than I received in any of letters for a breakdown of costs. I've since spoken to my surveyor, who agreed their invoice was excessive, being several hundred pounds more than the appointed surveyor. Shocking behaviour.

Matthew Price from Peter Barry solicitors was expert and efficient in his report for my lease renewal. Trina from the Peter Barry office was efficient, friendly and reliable in setting up the survey.

Valuation received in a timely manner

Peter Barry was subcontracted through a lease extension company we are currently using. They acted in a prompt and timely manner and completed the necessary paperwork speedily, allow the full lease extension process to progress with out delay
