Scam Alert
Scam Alert – Beware
This company is a scam. They will take your money and provide no real help. I paid $49 and never received the services promised. They claim to send alerts to local vets, but when I called my veterinarian, they said they had never even heard of this company.
When I tried to contact customer service, nobody answered. Calling their phone number only leads to an automated system that hangs up if you press 5 for customer service. Emails also go unanswered.
I know how heartbreaking it is to lose a pet, and I pray that everyone finds their animal friends—but this company is not the place to turn to for help. Please save your time, money, and hope, and look elsewhere.
Company hasn't answered emails or messages.
My cat Missy had gone missing on August 6. On August 8 I had placed an order for the pet amber alert on their website but our Missy came back on Saturday August 9. I called to cancel the alert but I got cut off every time I pressed the number they said on their FAQ to hit in order to cancel. I called various time but the same thing kept happening. I emailed them explaining what happened but they have yet to reply. They have a live chat option and I attempted to speak to someone there but no one replied there either. They took my money but as of today I still haven't heard from them. I was already suspicious when they failed to email me after I placed the alert but I held hope they were doing what their website said they did help people locate missing pets. I can't say if they really did this or not since I never heard from them after putting the alert. I didn't hear from them then and never heard from them after I tried cancelling it. I urge strong caution if you consider using this company.
My apologies to PetAmberAlert.com
My apologies to PetAmberAlert.com, which may be a legitimate business, but that's not who I dealt with. I dealt with Pet Amber Alert and it is definitely a scam. Anxious to find our missing cat, I followed a recommendation in a reply to my post on Lost Pets of Northern Arizona. They claimed they used camera data, social media, and even drones to find lost pets. I checked here and BBB. While reviews were mixed, TrustPilot said it was a legitimate business and there were only 6 BBB complaints, so I sent payment.
Then I dug deeper. Their profile photo had "SES Rescue" on orange jumpsuits. A photo of a van said, "dog rescue." Looking up SES, it is "State Emergency Services".....of Austraila!! Those are search and rescue dogs, not rescued dogs!
I began trolling them when they wanted second-half payment to give me "the address of my missing pet" who by then was safely in the house. Thankfully looking into pet finding scams, I found that demanding payment for the pets return was a common tactic.
So, watch out for COPYCAT businesses that ARE FRAUDULENT! Make sure you are dealing with the official business, NOT the scammers using their name!

The company is a mere shell that does nothing but take money from vulnerable people. According to the BBB, who give it a rating of F, their mail is returned. They do not respond to emails or their own chats and their customer support hangs up before connecting.

I can only give 3 stars because I have yet to even receive my tag. I AM wondering why many of you are mentioning money. This is free, as are the tags!!!! What are you paying for?
I see these reviews but has anyone…
I see these reviews but has anyone actually found their pet using Pet Amber Alert?? Like foreal. I have heard both that this is real and a scam. I need a real person to tell me they found their pet using this company.
I should have know this company is a…
I should have know this company is a scam!!! I asked them 2 questions before committing to a $163 deal. Never got an answer to my questions. Out of pure desperation I bought the package anyway thinking time is of the essence. I bought a package with alert to neighbors, vets and other instances to notify about our cat's disappearance. Nothing was carried out. A fancy list of instances notified online but when you actually go to them, no one has received anything, not the vets, not the shelters, no one. The poster alert was sent to me after I kept complaining that I hadn't received anything. We are talking about a least a week after I bought the package. The poster is a joke, I could have done that myself! Plus way too late if you are talking about a disappearance. Please DO NOT commit to this company. They are not interested in your pet, they do not help you find your pet back. They are looking to effortless collect a lot of money. It is seriously a scam. They do not respond to emails or questions, you are left in the dark. You cannot call them, when you do they say they only do online support. Are you kidding me? There is no online support!!! They don't respond to anything. I'm still trying to get my money back, I have been trying for 2 months. So far for their money back guarantee they advertise online. They are literally thieves. There are so much other things you can do the find you pet back. Petamber alert should NOT be one of them. Please do not fall for them. Pawboost is good, also go to vets offices personally and hand over flyers, hang up posters in the neighborhood, talk to neighbors, ANYTHING is better than this scam company, it will only cause you frustration plus you will have the guarantee NOTHING is done to find your pet back while you actually think the opposite because they will send you false information!!!!
