Website doesn't work

I have had stuff delivered from this company for some time now, that has all been fine but it's their IT system. I have phoned them several times to say that none of my orders or autoships show up on my account. Everytime I want to change something I have to ring them. They have told me that they are working on the website to get this corrected however that was months ago and I still can't see my orders or autoships so I have cancelled everything and gone elsewhere

website interface is intentionally terrible auto-shipping fees are misleading, large orders are separated resulting in shipping fees. Avoid using this business!!!

Beware of automatic auto-order

My husband ended up in hospital with a serious accident while I was abroad. In order to help out my friends with the care of our dogs I ordered their dog food over-priced online. Little did I know that this is such a scam company. - Somewhere during the order process there was a tick box one had to un-tick to cancel an autoorder which I was then stuck with. Such a scam approach!

I ordered a Vet Diet Dog food as I wish…

I ordered a Vet Diet Dog Dry Food as I wish to wean my dog off Vet Diet Wet Food. To this end I contacted Pet.co to find out when likely be shipped as I dont want purchase more Wet Food meantime. I was told my order was in packing. Having had problems with Pet.Co before so later in the day I rang them again and explained the need for a prompt delivery and could they advise when it will be shipped. I was then informed it was in Picking which is a stage back from Packing. I explained that delays would mean having to purchase more Hill's Wet Food to wean the Dog on to the dry food could I therefor cancel the order. They refused so i informed them I was cancelling anyway. Has become a very unhelpful Company should have known better than to use them again.

Broken IT system, poor communication

How is it possible that a simple online gift card does not get delivered to your email right away and instead has taken 17 days and counting for them to email me the proper vouchers? This is taking longer than postal mail! Their e-commerce team/IT system seems an incompetent mess, and their business does not communicate effectively, with customer service advisers (whilst trying to be helpful) distancing themselves from IT as if they do not belong to one and the same company. I purchased two $50 e-vouchers on 23 Jan to give as a birthday present, but they never emailed me the voucher. On 7 Feb, or 15 days later, the customer service consultant emailed to say their IT should have sent me the voucher codes already (but no, they haven't), she then gave me a code for a $100 voucher which isn't what I ordered. I purchased 2 separate $50 vouchers because their website says that all purchases must be done in one go and they cannot give a change if you purchase below the value of the voucher. That is why I bought separate vouchers, to make sure the recipient wont waste any of the value! But they sent me a code for the entire $100 (more than 2 weeks after I purchased them online!). So now they are still "trying" to email me the 2 separate $50 vouchers. I have asked for a refund if they don't finally send the vouchers by 10 Feb. Appalling service. Who has all the time and patience to engage with them over several emails and phone calls about what should have been a simple online transaction? [Their reply below is a joke and a moot point given their customer service reps still need to rely on the e-commerce team to do its job to resolve the issue. Ultimately we agreed for me to just get a refund which the customer experience team was able to execute quickly. They offered a $30 credit on my pet.co.nz account which was a nice gesture. I would still be wary of purchasing from this online store for now until they get their system sorted]

Used to use them for all my pet food…

Used to use them for all my pet food but service has declined over the last year so have switched supplier. Food often wouldn't arrive for over a week, and items we relied upon were never in stock.

Fast delivery over Xmas period

Our vet told us that one of our cats needed some dental care, and that we could buy a product that could be added to his water. We found the product online on this shop, and ordered it. I had little hope of it arriving fast as we ordered it on the 23rd of December, with Xmas Day and Boxing Day Mondayised, so that the first two business days of the following week were public holidays. I was delighted that we received the product on the Thursday, so less than a week after ordering, even with the public holidays inbetween.

APALLING SLOW SERVICE

Just a unreliable and inconsiderate company all round. No communication. Service and shipping is so slow and they take 2-4 days just to send out your package. DO NOT rely on them if you're running low on pet food and need it in a hurry! Takes over a week to arrive, sometimes 2 weeks. I will never shop with pet.co.nz again, they are utterly useless.

DISAPPOINTED 😞 updated 🙂

I ordered two items that were instock, paid for them. Received only one item. Have emailed 3 times no reply from them other than the auto reply which refers to them dealing with a lot of enquiries and please be patient with us. I wonder why you're busy, you don't get back to people but take their money! Have rung the 0800 number and they are unable to take any calls. I'm out of pocket and have no answers. Very frustrating such a big let-down as they were recommended. I hope I get my money back or my item, but will never be using them again. We use these services for convenience and it has been nothing but a hinderance, feeling very frustrated at the lack of customer service, reputation is everything.
UPDATE
I would like to say that finally I received a positive reply and outcome. A friendly email after weeks of waiting, gave me options to rectify the situation and it happened in a timely manner. I am putting this matter to rest now, I truly felt nothing was ever going to happen. Thank you 😊

No customer service

I have a faulty item I’d like to be refunded but it is impossible to get hold of anyone. Filled in the online form a week ago nothing, live chat is offline, phone them and your just put on hold. No customer service at all

This company used to be great but now they take your money and don't send your order. They have not replied to 3 of my emails and it's impossible to get hold of them. Stay away from them!

Totally unimpressed

Totally unimpressed. I've been using them for a year. Went well until 3 months ago I had a question I emailed. Never heard from them. So I rang them, asked the question. They said yhey would vet back yo me never did. Then recently one of my orders had out of stock items. No problem, I reordered when in stock. My new order which was about 10 items set for dispatch and when sent only sent and delivered 1 item. I checked all product was in stock. I emailed, waited a few days no response. I rang them, I was disconnected 3 times and on hold another time for 30 minutes, no answer. You have now lost my business

Do NOT recommend

Like all other recent reviews - DO not recommend shopping here. Used to be great but they have messed up my autoship order over 3 times now. Customer service people kept telling me my order would be dispatched and it never was. Not happy and will never use again.

If only I could give zero stars I would. Like all recent reviews, used to be great. Taking money, not delivering product and not responding to any queries by phone, email or online chat. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Eventually refunded money with no apology for crappy customer service. I would not recommend.
