Outstanding Service Highly Recommended

I cannot praise Pension Advice highly enough for the exceptional support they provided in helping me access my 25% tax‑free lump sum (TFLS) from pension pots I had built up in Ireland. Now living in the UK, I had no idea that I was eligible to claim my TFLS from the age of 50. At 53, with my Irish pension pots maturing, the process quickly became far too complex to navigate alone, especially as my pension providers couldn’t advise me and even my former accountant, a tax and pensions specialist, was too busy to take on my case.

I contacted Pension Advice after finding them online, and from my very first conversation with Chris Crowley, Director, in early February 2026, everything became clear. Chris explained the entire process in a way that was easy to understand and fully aligned with both Irish and UK pension and tax legislation. He ensured my residual pension pots were combined correctly and structured to suit my UK residency, and he guided the release of my 25% TFLS, allowing me to reduce other financial commitments ahead of my next remortgage cycle.

Because TFLS is treated differently in Ireland and the UK, I had been worried about getting it wrong. Thanks to Chris and the team, I now feel completely confident that my retirement funds are being managed properly and will be released smoothly in the years ahead. Pension Advice, together with Aviva, will continue to oversee everything, which gives me huge peace of mind.

Once the initial setup was complete, Louise Williams, Head of Client Services, and Hanna Gallagher, Client Services, became my main points of contact. They have been absolutely fantastic, professional, proactive, and in touch at every stage. Their communication has been flawless, and I always felt supported, informed, and reassured.

I genuinely could not have navigated this process without them. The team at Pension Advice are incredibly knowledgeable, highly professional, and genuinely committed to helping their clients. If I could award more than five stars, I absolutely would.

Thank you so much, Chris, Louise, and Hanna, you’ve made an overwhelming process simple, clear, and stress‑free.
