I was drawn in by the promise of a sustainable case, and I ordered via their European site. Knowing that the were a Canadian company, I did my research and found information on the company site in 'shipping' claiming that they send the cases from a storage in Germany. So I figured it is okay to order from them. Little did I know that they then shipped from Canada making the purchase really not sustainable anymore but also expensive due to Eust regulations. I also waited 3 weeks for the case to arrive. I am really disappointed. For me it was straightforward that I find information in the shipping rider of the website, but they also 'hide' information about duty regulations in the FAQ. I will definitely not order again.

quick responses & great item
pela phone grip is great for the price. also got a good deal on it, it was like 50% off. had to email them and ask if the grip had magnets in it because magnets dont work with the samsung S Pen, they responded quickly and told me it doesnt have any, so it works well

I really like the variety of phone case design options. I find them to protect my phone well and I love that they are compostable! I am on my fourth case (new phone) and accidentally had the wrong shipping address, they were able to update it for me after I placed my order - they have excellent customer service as well.

First of all, I love my Pela case. I love how it feels, how it looks, the huge number of designs, and how it protects my phone. When my 2 month old case broke, right where the charger goes, they replaced it without question. I am a lifelong fan and plan on buying a new design in the spring.

UK delivery takes SIX WEEKS
UK delivery takes SIX WEEKS. They conveniently fail to advertise this anywhere on their UK website. Products are shipped from Canada, which somewhat undermines the eco credentials, and I was forced to buy two under an unwanted BOGOF offer, further undermining the eco-friendly facade. Save your money (and your time) and shop elsewhere.

These cases are really gorgeous and high quality. I bought the canopy screen protector as well but when it was delivered most of the liquid had spilled into the packaging. I took a picture and contacted them. They responded quickly and with a description and photo they were fast to help me and a replacement product is already on the way! Looking forward to continue using their products.

Update: 12/10 label created; 12/13 accepted at USPS facility. Delivery estimated in seven days. Not sure if it's the holidays or what, but whatever. Now I know.
I ordered cases late in the evening on Dec 1st. It is now Dec 10th and I have yet to receive an email with a shipping notice & tracking number. I emailed the company on the 7th & received an automated response that reads,
"Did you mean to check the status of your order?
We normally ship within 2-3 business days for items that are ready to ship and 5-7 business days for art on demand from the date of the order. Due to high volumes, we are currently experiencing a small delay. We will be shipping your order shortly and will send you the tracking details.
You can check your order status by logging in to the Help Center.
If this auto-response did not answer your question, just reply to this email with a "hi". One of our support team members will address your query."
My order is showing as unfulfilled on the website. I just emailed them again today, and am awaiting a response. If I get a positive response with a shipment confirmation & tracking number soon, I will update my review. If not, I will request a cancellation.
I've worked in customer service since I began working when I was 16, and in an office setting for years. Keeping customers up to date on their orders is the most important thing. If you get a lot of business, you should have the money to afford enough employees to effectively communicate with customers.

Love my new Pela case. Exceptional quality and strong protection for my phone. I also purchased the phone grip, which didn’t adhere that long to the case. When I reached out to Pela they were right on it and sent me a new one. Great customer service!
Sustainability and Peak Customer Service!
The company is very sustainable and tells all customers what they do to ensure microplastics aren't used. I had an issue where I needed to change my address for one of my orders, and the customer service team was so completely helpful and accommodating! You can tell they really love the business and are happy to help and get their product out into the world!
