Wow, brilliant concept

Wow, what a discovery. Who needs the commercialised hell that YouTube, and increasingly Vimeo, force upon filmmakers and content producers. PeerTube is free, open-source, decentralized, federated, embeddable, customisable ... everything I used to use at Vimeo until they became greedy and deleted all my videos without warning after dropping their upload allowances without notice.

This is the future. It's European. Find a good, solid Instance of it and support it (or set up your own Instance with the open source software!)
