I was a tenant at his property located…

I was a tenant at his property located at L4 0sd (39 Balfour street liverpool). I vacated the property on 5th November 2025 peacefully before my rent expired with proper notice to the landlord which was well accepted.I requested for my refund of deposit on the 7th of November and the landlord keep declining it, coming up with a fictitious claim of damage whereas the house was listed less than 3 weeks after I left for rent. A little research showed that he is fond of holding former tenants deposit
