When my daughter paid £0.49p to create a single pdf online, we had no idea that she was signing up to a monthly subscription of £39.99, and (our fault) we didn't discover this for a year. So her single pdf has cost us just under £400!. When I asked their customer services for some kind of reimbursement, as her account clearly showed that she had only created one pdf in the whole year, they refused.

A BUNCH OF THIEVES. HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY.
My dyslexic son paid 49p for one sheet of pdf. He now has a credit card bill for £119.97 for three months subscription he certainly never asked for. He, like many others on this site did (could) not read the small print and did not check his CC account. A letter from the company pointed out that he had exceeded the 14 day cancellation period. Disgusting.

Paid £0.49 for a file conversion & without warning 3 days later PDF Centre tried to charge an annual subscription of £39.99.
This is totally misleading on their website & is clearly aimed at scamming unsuspecting people.

I'm another one caught by the PDF Centre's automatic taking of a subscription if one doesn't cancel immediately. Of course I complained, telling them that I'm a pensioner and it was a mistake, but according to the email they sent me, their terms are clear. Not true! So, be very wary of using these guys unless you're looking for a longer term relationship.

Paid for 1 conversion for 0.49 - noticed as i pressed the payment a box flashed up extremely quickly, a few days later they have since taken £39.99 from my account. I cannot sign into my "account" to cancel my subsciption as i didnt sign up for one no password etc- I have contacted my bank and they are now blocked, emailed PDF centre multiple times for a refund with 0 response, there is a telephone number but you have no way of speaking to anyone as its just an automated message- I will BE reporting to trading standards today,including the fake username you have sent to my email plus all the recent reviews of this awful SCAM, looks they trade under NERO DIGITAL LTD - Company number (13664416) if anyone else wants to take further action - DISGRACEFUL- you know exactly what you're doing.

Scammers! Used them to convert one file online for 49p, then discovered that they had taken 3 monthly subscriptions at £39.99 each. No indication initially that I was signing up to a subscription.

Looked at the reviews and saw a lot of people saying they got charged £40 for a subscription and sure enough, I had been signed up for one after the 49p. I paid the 49p figuring I'd get a better quality document but it was piss-poor, formatting all over the place and illegible. Thankfully cancelled the subscription right away.

I used this service to convert one document and was charged 49 pence, I was in such a rush and I assumed this was a payment for the document, unfortunately this was not done very well, I could not use the document so I just tried a different Company.
However I’ve looked at my bank statement I have discovered that they are taking £39.99 and have supposedly signed up for a subscription. taking it out every month. I have sent a few emails but no joy in getting my money back and I cannot afford to pay over £40.00 for one document

DON'T use this company. I paid 49p to convert a pdf file and when I looked at my bank account they had also taken £39.99 for a monthly subscription that I never signed-up for. My bank has put a block on further transactions but said they are unable to recover the £39.99 as I had already made a 49p transaction with them. I've been emailing them for days now and they never respond. Given their web address (.io) I assume they are not based in the UK.

Bunch of scammers. They turn a seemingly single £0.49 charge for one document conversion, into a £39.99 rolling monthly contract. Despicable behaviour.

They are a disgusting company, they trick you by asking for a one time payment and it automatically goes to a monthly payment, without your notice.
Be careful not to use them ever.

Paid for a trial but the product didn’t work. I wrote the same day to cancel trial but they debited my card anyway. I contacted them to challenge this and they did refund me, “as a gesture of goodwill“!

Please beware of this company!! Their tactic is putting a decoy button for what is advertised as a free service. You press that button to subscribe for 49p without scrolling down further.
Here is the real story there is ANOTHER button further down on a different page which mentions a subscription for £39 per month with a right to cancel of 48 HOURS. This is how scammers make a quick buck, then disappear. They took 2 payments, £78, for a page of a document I didn't even download. REALLY DISGRACEFUL. AVOID.
I've informed my bank and blocked them. This is fraud.

Thank you for being so practice and for helping me through this. As I know it was set up in a mistake from me and I don’t have that kind of money to spare and this is not something I would use so thank you for your help. I will wait for my refund now from you guys which should be 2-9th of May is that correct.

Absolute SCAMS!!!! Said 49p for a one off use no sign off a membership after 48 hours i got charged £39.99 when i contacted them they sent me a screenshot of checkout page which looked nothing like my checkout page. The checkout page they sent me clearly shows a membership charge but when you go through the website and checkout nothing is on checkout page to show a membership charge. Avoid at all costs as they are scamming people daily buy asking for a one of payment to convert document and then charging a subscription charge. Why would someone pay a one off cost and sign up to a subscription as nothing us clear easy way to scam people. SCAMS SCAMS SCAMS SCAMS - I WANT A REFUND!!

They didn't do what I asked and the even after cancelling I still had to pay for the month. I would highly recommend, if you do the trial and it doesn't work for you screen shot the cancellation. .

Good service and good app helped me edit in no time

This company is a criminal rip off operation. Charged £39.99 for a 0.49 document conversion. Am in the process of reporting to Trading Standards.
