We have recently used PCS for aellong and purchase of property and had a really positive experience .
Our case handler Lauren was amazing . She was efficient, friendly and always helpful when I called with any questions I had.
She always kept us updated on proceeding either by call or email.
PCS are also very competitively priced .
I would definitely recommend them.

Communication was a joke. I’d hear from them once a month if I was lucky. Emails ignored. Phone calls ignored. My estate agent tried chasing them too and got the same silence. They told me they’d never worked with a conveyancer this bad. The sale nearly collapsed entirely because of how long PCS dragged things out for no reason.

I have the email correspondence to prove all of this, including one where the buyer’s own solicitor described PCS as the worst solicitor they had ever had to deal with. That is not my opinion. That is a legal professional on the other side of the transaction saying it.

I filed complaint after complaint through their website. Not one was actually dealt with. It felt like shouting into a void.

Their prices might look cheap, but that’s because they pile on more cases than they can handle and let clients like me pay the price in stress, delays, and real financial loss. I was originally passed to them via Millennium Legal, who seem to only handle the identity checks before handing the actual case over to PCS to do the rest. If you’re in the same position, my advice is to stop right there and go elsewhere, even if it means losing the money you’ve already paid Millennium. It will save you far more in the long run. This was the single worst professional experience of my life, and I would not wish it on anyone selling their home.

Katie Scutt handled our sale. Whilst it took a look time this was due to buyer's solicitor. Katie was always available and dast to respond.

Excellent service, always answering our queries efficiently. Easy online service. The initial forms are generic and not very accurate and it was not clear how to send supporting information. Once sending emails directly to solicitor rather than messaging through the portal everything was smooth and straightforward.

I genuinely trust PCS Legal. I needed to get a difficult flat sale through and we got there in the end. What I value is the positive, competent and kind way of interacting with me as their customer even though the field of business they operate in must be stressful for them. I felt that the fees were transparent, fair and clearly worth it.

My experience with PCS Legal was extremely poor. Emails were regularly ignored, and after completion they stopped responding altogether.

On the day of completion I was hit with over £3,000 in additional charges. I was also forced to pay service charges relating to the seller's ownership because PCS Legal failed to resolve the issue beforehand. After completion, they offered no help recovering the money.

I complained to their Client Care Team, who admitted the service was poor and offered £120.80 compensation. I accepted, provided my bank details, and they still haven't paid it.

After 34 years living in the UK, this has been the worst customer service I have personally experienced from any company. I would not recommend PCS Legal, as I would feel liable for increase in unnecessary mental trauma of the recipient.
