I always like PBS and loved The Civil War. in particular Shelby Foote so handsome and what a beautiful Southern accent A star over night with women writing asking him to marry them . I FELL FOR SHELBY TOO but did not go that far , 1 thing bothers me they seem very pro IRISH and not so pro us BRITISH . PBS had a programme about the IRA and I" thought" they were on their side. but PBS introduced me to SHELBY FOOTE 25 YEARS AGO . I may also add that many Americans seem to me to be very pro IRISH so PBS is another example BUT YOU GAVE ME THE THRILL OF SEEING SHELBLY FOOTE
