IEEE CCECE2025

I have registered with PayClick for my accepted papers in IEEE CCECE 2025. The registration was smooth, as well as the submission of IEEE eCF and my paper's camera-ready.

Fraud

Their page reads "We believe your event experience should be simple, elegant and hassle-free." But I was meet with only difficulties and disrespect.

I am in the EU and their site only accepted $, my bank returned the payment because it detected fraud (never happened to me when paying with $ before).

After contacting both the organizers of the event, and the PayQlick support, both agreed, and I am being literal, that the "Event -being celebrated in Europe- was International and in conclusion only charged in USD and there was no interest in supporting taxation for other countries because complying with the law is too much effort on their end."

I'm ought to conclude that, to them, 1) The meaning of "international" is that USA is all the countries that are needed to account, and 2) Forcing bank transfer as only way of payment, to prevent customer disputes and evade taxes, is the way to go in the year 202X.

After one month of contacting them expecting a proper solution, it seems the threat of being sued was enough for them to enable €, increase pricing and still force bank transfer. Congratulations for your efforts!
