It is sad. I have used PayPal since I first heard of it. I've appreciated being a valued client and benefitted from their customer care, a real advocate for the consumer. No longer true. I was den... See more

Better Options Available
Great if you don’t mind waiting almost a month for your money, and of course you don’t mind them taking a portion of YOUR money for making you wait. The most absurd money transfer option available. This is all based on recent actual experience. I received a payment of $800 on Nov 24. I will only be receiving $776.39 on the 15th of Dec. I seriously don’t know how this even legal. I’ve essentially paid them for the inconvenience. I’ll never deal with this ridiculous company again. Complete bs.

Actually still 3 months I am using paypal. but suddenly they permanently banned my account due to violation that I never did.
Paypal steals your money
Paypal takes your money, including fees that should be charged to buyers that want to cancel their purchases. It's ridiculous. They'll also steal your money after you send products out, due to scammers saying they didn't get it.
No wonder their rating is so low
No wonder their rating is so low.
I've been using PayPal for the past twelve years, and I FEEL INSULTED.
In June 3, 2021, I got a payment from a friend of mine. Not a sale, so no invoices or anything written.
By november, my friend found some unusual activity on her credit card, so she made a complain to her bank, and in return, they rolled back every transaction, including my legitimate transferred money. It didn't matter to PayPal, THEY TOOK AWAY MY MONEY, AND ALSO MADE ME PAY AN $8 DISPUTE FEE. It didn't matter, my friend explained, I explained. THEY JUST TOOK AWAY MY MONEY AND GAVE IT BACK TO MY FRIEND. Since I'm in Venezuela, when my friend sent me $100, I just got
$94.30 (Yes, PayPal fee). Now, my friend (still friends), asks me where to repay me. The fact is, although PayPal converted $100 to $94.30 they took away ALL ONE HUNDRED, so, instead of a $94.30 debt (which I received in June), now I owe $100 + $8.
If my friend pays me back $100, I would get 94.30 and still owe PayPal almost 14 bucks. I FEEL RIPPED OFF.
Stole all my money after 180 days
I wouldn't advise you to use PayPal.
They limited my account for no reason and I was unable to do anything. Without any explanations, I emailed and called for weeks only to be told that they cannot tell me why I was limited as it was confidential?? They held my money for 180 days just in case there are refunds.
It's now 180 days later and they took all the money that was held (I had no disputes or refunds). They said it was because of the damages that I caused.. what damages? I contacted them by their contact number again to ask why all my money was gone (a couple of thousand pounds) and the response I got was they don't know. they have forwarded it to the team that deals with this.
The team that deals with this cannot contact me, I cannot have contact with them. They do not give their contact details or anything. Strongly recommend that you get off this platform as soon as possible. They really are a very shady organisation.
I'm going to sue them if I don't get my money within 7 days. I would strongly advise that you no longer use Paypal.

Never trust this company with your money. They will take it if given the chance.
Only act in the merchant's interest
Only act in the merchant's interest. Bought a Pixel 6 from Google (don't go there). Charged me 3 times. Paypal not interested. Too much AI not listening to small guy. Their customer is the person paying the fees. Sick of these big companies.
Only scammers use this site
Only scammers use this site and on top of that customer service is bad, it is hard to get in contact with an actual person. I was scammed and the customer service person I spoke to checked the person I was trying to send money to, they could have told me their account was on review because of suspicious activity but they did not. They also do not ban accounts that actually scam people

I use PayPal as a matter of choice when purchasing anything online. If an item didnt arrive or I’ve had a problem with a product or refund. PayPal sorts it. I would never buy anything online without using them. Excellent service
Been with paypal for several years now
I've read a lot of reviews about PayPal and the nightmares that too many consumers have said they've had with them. That's never been my experience. I've never had a problem with any of the money I've had deposited or withdrawn from it. And their record-keeping has been helpful when I need to look up any activities. For my experience with them, they deserve no less than 5 stars. Here's hoping my experience with them continues to be excellent.
Paypal is a sham company
Paypal is a sham company that does not stand by their "so-called" buyer protection. Bought tickets that were delivered right before the show start. Could't use them as it involved travel time. Paypal rewards this abhorrent ticket company's behavior by telling me "Well they delivered before the show" DO NOT USE PAYPAL.

Had to put a star just to write a review. 9/13/21: PayPal was used by a third party to steal money from my bank account. When I attempted to stop transactions PayPal lied to me that no money had been take. An Hour later $67.75 was purportedly credited back to a PayPal account. The second transaction for $263 PayPal claimed was never taken from my bank account. The representative advised that PayPal does not have a business address and continues to refuse to close the PayPal account or otherwise reimburse the funds to my bank account from which PayPal stole it without my authorization. In addition the PayPal representative repeatedly ask for additional banking information which I refuse to provide. Ironically after purportedly putting $67.75 in a PayPal account as a form of reimbursement I receive an email that my claims of fraud are denied because no money was taken from my bank account. Yet PayPay has tried 3-separate times to withdraw more money ~ thankfully I froze that bank account or PayPal would continue to steal funds and claim/lying none were taken while refusing to close the PayPal account or reimburse funds to the bank from which they were stolen. VVVVEEEERRRRYYY Frustrating.
Poor Customer Service
On Sep 14 I removed Regions Bank that was associated with my PayPal account after which I added Bright Star Credit Union (BSCU).
I then sent $200 to a friend from the new BSCU account. A message popped up that PayPal would verify the new account by making deposits and withdrawals. When I did not see the $200 debit on my BSCU account I called PayPal the next day and was told that it would take some time to be reflected on my account. Once my friend told me that she received the funds, I called PayPal again to inquire as to why it was not showing up on my account. This time the rep told me that PayPal 'fronted' the funds and that the debit would eventually be posted to my bank account. I inquired as to the fees involved and was told that there were none.
I called again today and am being told that they attempted to withdraw the $200 from the Regions Bank and since this account has been closed for several years it was denied. So they just went ahead and debited a credit card that I had on the account. Note that the rep with whom I spoke on Sep 16 did not tell me this.
It is clear that the negative reviews of this company are all well deserved. Their customer service reps need training.
Needless to say, I have closed the account with PayPal and will also be alerting others via our uTube Channel of their poor business practices

One of the pioneers for online payment innovation. I love it. It is one of the most secure ways to pay online. Do you know that Elon Musk is one of the founders of PayPal??
Pay pay is trying to force me to use…
Pay pay is trying to force me to use their app on my phone. I will not do this. So now they tell me that their is suspicous activity on my account and this is a lie. They keep telling me that I need to change my password to access paypal, and I have changed my password ten times, but because I refuse the phone app they will not allow me to access to my paypal account. I can't close it. I'm not using paypal anymore. I was told by my credit card company that paypal will not follow through on complaints. Paypal use to have someone answer the phone. Not any more. The chat on their website is a robot who doesn't comunicate and asks the same question over and over. I'm dealing with two disputes now, one was a bait and switch. They didn't send me what I ordered and sent me something else. The other dispute the seller sent me a tracking number, and the another traking number from USPS and USPS never recieved the item. Then the seller closed his account on ebay, paypal sent me an email saying that there was nothing that they could do. If I have another problem I will stop using ebay all together. It's not worth the headache, the paperwork, dealing with phone calls to the credit card company.
Paypal Robs Disabled Children
Paypal robs disabled children. When you call them on it, they either shuck and jive or just ignore you. On top of this, they limit access to previous interactions and lie about letting you view them after. I wouldn't trust them with a dusty collection of pennies, let alone any real wealth.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. We have a business account. Paypal has been making fees on us for years. We're now trying to withdraw OUR money, and Paypal are making it nearly impossible with the amount of form and document submission online. WHY weren't you asking these questions when you took our money in the first place. OUTRAGEOUS...!
Pathetic way to steal business money
Pathetic way to steal business money. They dispute your money without any reason. Only way to get money is to wait at least 6 months. Fraudsters
Use Another Payment Provider
Use Another Payment Provider
I've never had a good experience with PayPal. Their customer service is terrible and a waste of time. Your questions don't ever get answered. You have no control over what happens with your account and they set their own rules and basically tell you to deal with it in their automated messages. There are so many better options out there. PayPal has gone downhill & I will never deal with this company again.
