I am really upset with Paxful
I am really upset with Paxful. They closed my account and took my money.
I am 57 years old. I used Paxful for a couple of years buying and selling on Paxful here and there. I never had a problem with Paxful.
Then one day I tried to log in to my account. It said "Account suspended." That was it. No warning from Paxful. No email from Paxful. Nothing from Paxful.
I had twenty two thousand dollars in my account. Money from selling my car and some savings. I panicked. I contacted support. For weeks all I got were automated replies from Paxful. Then complete silence from Paxful.
I kept asking Paxful why they closed my account. Finally they said I broke one of their rules. But would not tell me which one. No evidence from Paxful. No way to appeal to Paxful. They just closed my account and kept my money.
I felt sick. That twenty two thousand dollars was supposed to fix my roof and pay some bills. Gone, like that because of Paxful.
I tried lawyers. They were too expensive. I tried forums. Just other people with the same story about Paxful. Nobody knew what to do about Paxful.
Then I found Poma Advisory. Getting my money back from Paxful was months of letters proving I was not a criminal and a lot of stress. There were days I thought I would never see that twenty two thousand dollars again because of Paxful.. Poma Advisory stuck with me. In the end they got every dollar back from Paxful.
Here is what I learned. Do not trust any platform like Paxful that can lock you out without telling you why. Keep records of everything on Paxful. And if your Paxful account gets closed with money do not waste time begging Paxful support. Get real help. Poma Advisory made all the difference.
To Paxful: Closing Paxful. Keeping peoples money without a real reason is wrong. Get customer support for Paxful. Add an appeal process for Paxful. Be honest with users. What you are doing is hurting people like me because of Paxful.
Would I recommend Paxful? No. Stay away, from Paxful.

This company also greatly helped me previously when I forgot the backup keys and upon verifying through picture and ID verification they reset my account I got access to my funds.
Not happy to see you closing your operations. God bless you guys.

I had a terrible experience with Paxful. The platform is full of scammers, and unfortunately, the moderators seem to protect them instead of helping honest users. I opened a dispute and provided every piece of evidence they requested. For three months, they kept asking me to wait, and then suddenly they terminated my account without any explanation.
I lost both my time and my trust in Paxful. Be very careful if you decide to use this platform — their support system is unreliable, and you might end up losing your money with no help at all.

Paxful has frozen accounts and effectively stolen users’ funds. They announced a shutdown but blocked withdrawals, closed the app and the website, leaving customers with no way to recover their money.

On September 24,2025, I received an email saying my account had been banned, and I never got a clear response from Team Paxful as to why, in the email they stated that I violated the terms of service and my account did not pass the compliance review after 2 years and my account did not pass the compliance review. Terrible experience. The seller first said that none of the codes were working, then 12 minutes later admitted that some codes started working. I provided full receipts (305 €), screenshots, and proof that I only received the cards shortly before the trade and had no other trades open that day. Despite this clear evidence, the moderator sided with the scammer. Very disappointing and unfair process. I strongly advise others not to trade her.

I am writing to urgently request a full review of my account hold. I was informed that my account was placed on hold for allegedly “faking reputation/faking trades.” This is not true.
I have completed fewer than 20 trades on Paxful, and all of them were conducted honestly using legitimate payment methods. I do not even know the people I traded with personally, which makes it impossible for me to have arranged or faked any trades. Every single trade has been genuine.
I joined Paxful with the intention of trading transparently and building a good reputation from the ground up. Being new to the platform, I am still learning, but I have always respected and followed the rules. This decision feels unfair and does not reflect my actual trading activity.
I kindly but firmly request that my account be re-reviewed and reinstated. I am more than willing to provide any documents, transaction details, or other proof needed to clear up this misunderstanding.
Please reconsider this matter and lift the hold on my account, as this situation is blocking me from legitimately growing as a trader on Paxful.

Scam. I registered. Verified email, verified phone, and during the process of verifying my ID i did all the steps as described only to have the ID verification fail on me.
So i contact their support, and they just tell me:
"We understand how important it is that your account gets ID-verified and how confusing what happened is. However, no need to worry about it, as you are no longer required to proceed. This is because the account has been permanently banned due to a Terms of Service (ToS) violation, specifically for not passing compliance review."
I wonder what ToS ive violated since i did absolutely NOTHING other than sign up and follow the first steps.

Pending 164 USDT Transaction & Banned Account – No Response
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience on Paxful.
My account (registered username: AgileCurassow413) was suddenly banned without explanation, and at the same time, I have a pending USDT transaction of 164 USDT (fee 7 USDT) stuck since August 30, 9:41 PM IST.
Despite multiple attempts to contact support, my issue remains unresolved. I cannot access my account or funds, and this is extremely frustrating.
I am requesting Paxful to:
Resolve or refund my pending transaction.
Explain and review the reason for banning my account.
Provide clear communication and support.
As a platform that claims to provide trust and security, Paxful needs to handle such cases transparently and urgently. Right now, my funds are frozen and I feel helpless.
