It's a scam

This is a scam ,my daughter & myself paid fee ,sent samples back by special delivery, they were signed for .that was last we heard .my daughter & my self have been emailing them & it stated no such email address. Also its not uk based its in Canada. When phoned the other numbers no such number ,when phoned the 0800 0885362 number they said had no details but would check with info I give them & ring back ,they didn't. I rang again 2 days later & a man says put it all in a email & Send to them ,I did it was returned stating no such email address, I phoned again & told same male this ,he would not give his name just said ring at 3pm uk time & ask the woman to deal with it & hung up .so it seems my Daughter & myself have been ripped off & this is a scam .I will be asking the bank can they give us a full refund as I know this dna company won't. So my advice is don't use this company, its all fake ,even their email address & phone numbers & there not uk based as their website stated .one big fraud I will be reporting it for fraud too.at leased Boots should be better even if it is a bit more expensive & it's uk based .

Paternity depot are crooks

Paternity depot are bloody crooks. There is no other way to state this. These crooks must be avoided at all cost. Find a British company. These crooks are waste of time and money. They messed me about so much. Its unbelievable. There tests are totally inaccurate. I believe they just make them up. I have reasons to believe that they do not have any equipment. They do not show the address on website and make it look as if its British company. But its not! Nick (not the right name?) is a thief. My advice is avoid these crooks like the plague.

please read if you are considering using this company

Because of the incorrect results that we received, from a company that claims it’s tests are 99.99% accurate and is tested in local labs and then sent away to Canada, my child has suffered more than 15 of her very first months fatherless.
Being a single mum, I struggle financially so was delighted when I saw how affordable this test was. It was only after I purchased the test that I saw the awful reviews. I received the results (after a remarkable amount of time) and saw that they were negative, which was obviously very confusing to me as I knew this to be impossible. My daughters father, then in Canada, was uncontactable after this.
When I recently heard his mother came back to England I asked her to carry out a grandparent dna test with a well researched and more expensive company, only to find out that he is in fact my daughters father. We are now left trying to pick up the pieces.
Throughout this process I had different queries and complaints which were completely ignored or rudely dealt with.
I know they are inexpensive but please, please wait another month, save up a little extra money and find a effective service because this company unapologetically have the potential to ruin lives. If I only stop at least one family from this unnecessary trauma then I will be glad. As I read in another review: AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

paternitydepot is a terrible company

paternitydepot is a terrible company. firstly they mislead you on the UK site into thinking that tests are carried out in the UK. this is not the case, they are in fact all sent out of the country to the laboratory in Toronto, Canada USA. The reviews on the website are false , they are exactly the same reviews on the USA website and the UK website they just changed the names and location according to what website they were posted on.customer service was reluctant to aknowledge this and didn't provide any answers as to why this is. my experience with customer service was awful.they took days sometimes weeks to respond and were very rude and unprofessional with there long awaited replies.I still haven't had all my questions answered and am left with many concerns that are affecting family relationships.to add insult to injury ,they have completely stopped responding to my emails now. they may be cheap but that is the only positive thing about this company. I would definitely pay more if I needed to use this service in future and use a more trusted company.would never recommend.never , ever , ever!!!!! :(
