I ordered some cocktail glasses from party City in Ireland and was told they'd be delivered 9 days later. Emailed the following day to cancel the order. Got no acknowledgement and the glasses arrived 4 days later.

Emailed to ask why the order wasn't cancelled and to date have received no reply.

Disappointing customer service.

We purchased a pair of number balloons from Party City at Freemont Village Shopping Center, 2109 Hawkins Street, Port Coquitlam on April 22 at 6:50pm for $12.99 each but we saw at Superstore that they’re selling them for only $6 each. We went back to Party City past 8pm to return the balloons but the store was already closed. I called Party City at 10am the following day and spoke to their Supervisor Danielle and she said that we cannot return the balloons. Needless to say that we are very disappointed with their store policy and how poorly Danielle treated us. Other than their products are overly priced, their cashier who sold us the balloons was snotty. She was even busy chit chatting with another cashier behind the counter while we wait for them to ring our purchase. I've searched Google and it seems that Party City is now owned and operated by Canadian Tire, no wonder they have poor customer service. I will never buy a single product from Party City ever again.

Fast delivery but at least 3 out of a 10 pack of balloons had small holes in them so will not order again.

Was rudely kicked out of the store for not having a mask on when I have a medical condition that does not allow me to have a mask on. The condition was caused my covid it stoped my heart and now I’ve a ICD implanted running my heart so I kno all about the risks of covid.

My go to for special events and I also like their bulk candies. prices are a bit more expensive than walmart and stupertore but they have a good selection. Cool decorations too and people working there are helpful.

Jim the manager is always very helpful and cheerful! He as well as other employees and managers at that location consistently offer excellent customer service. They seem to really care about your event and getting you what you would like. When comparing shopping Amazon or other stores this is the place. They have the best product and price as well as great customer service!

This company does not deserve any stars. Planning for my daughters birthday and ordered from an IRISH company so I would receive in time , with brexit you are not sure of orders getting to if your order from anywhere else . This company is falsely saying it’s Irish!! They need to say they are English on their website so people can make the choice . Instead of saying delivered in 3-5 working days , try weeks . Awful . AVOID AVOID

Would give less stars if this was possible. Ordered from this company from .ie domain believing I was ordering from an Irish website on 8th January. Got email on 15th telling me it would be delayed due to Brexit & that they couldn’t tell me when it would arrive. Still no sign of it on 9th February & my little girls birthday has been & gone. I’ve emailed asking for a refund but no reply. What’s even more appalling is they still don’t have any note on their website about delays if someone tried to order today they would believe they would get their merchandise within 3-5 days. Grossly misleading to customers.

Very disappointed, still hasint arrived after i complained, partys over anyways, couldint tell me where my package was, was supposed to arrive 26th January and its now 8th February. Also i ordered early so it would arrive due to covid and stuff. Took days to get back to me. Also replied with a automatic message.

Partycity.ie. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS A 0 STARS this company is NOT IRISH and it took 4 and a half weeks to arrive.........3 weeks to late.

Got a big suprise when I ordered from a .ie website and it wasn't irish. Items did not arrive by given time as promised BUT actually spoke to two lovely women in customer service and recived a very quick refund as my order didn't arrive on time.

Shame as they have a great deal of good value party supplies.

I purchased from Party City.ie as I am in Ireland and hoped this company was Irish. After weeks of not hearing anything I checked the delivery status to find out that my purchases, which were for my daughters birthday, were sent and delivered to an address in Manchester. I emailed the company three times and got no reply. Then suddenly I got an emailing saying I would get a refund. I don't mind getting the refund obviously but what the hell happened to my items and why do you not have a customer care service to reply to customers. Shocking.

Ordered party items for my daughters birthday 1 month in advance .. firstly there was no indication that this was an English company as they had a .ie domain address no mention of customs ... no sign of my items to be delivered .. contacted the seller NUMEROUS times and have had no response ... so the party items were purchased from another reputable IRISH COMPANY.

Constantly contacting them about my order only for the day before my party for me to contact them to ask about the courier they said it was delayed because of brexit and said i should have ordered longer in advance (I ordered 5 weeks in advance). DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE

This company is shocking i emailed three times over a package i ordered in december and it still hasn’t arrived it’s now the end of january and i haven’t received it and the shipping says it’s still in england? they blame brexit which is bs because every other company hasn’t had this issue as big? i only got back a response when i threatened to write a bad review and open a paypal case with them where all i got was an excuse no help at all!! Avoid at all costs would not recommend at all!! i thought they were reliable! turns out it’s not!!! Avoid avoid avoid find somewhere else do not waste your money!!!

If I could give it a 0 stars I would. I ordered off woodies thinking it was an Irish company only to be disappointed and left with no party decorations for my little girls birthday. Avoid this place I will never order from here again. I would have ordered elsewhere if I knew it was coming from England. A disgrace.

Absolutely disgraceful. I ordered items for delivery from Irish domain. Paid more for a quick up to 3 days delivery. 3 weeks later got a message that the delivery will be late. 4 weeks after the order was made the parcel is still in transit

Customer service is very bad. They don't know where parcel is and won't do refunds. Its long after celebrations and decorations are not needed.

Although charging for rapid delivery the company now says their order comes from abroad and due to brexit may be delayed....

This should be written on their website. I would order from Amazon or other local shop should I know they charge more for quick delivery but don't provide it.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Beware of them!! They charge you 4 months later for the rest of your balance and don't let you know!! They call it a glitch in the system and offer nothing but excuses. I will never use party city again. I bought items for my son's birthday in October and im being charged for what they claim is my remaining balance.

Looking here like many others, trusted this was an Irish website as using an Irish domain. Couldn't be further from the truth. Do NOT waste your money or time with this company. No reply from customer service either and by the looks of it here, they do not care to reply either. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs.

I placed an order with partycity.ie - an Irish website with a business address in dublin. Coming up to Brexit I was conscious of buying from within ireland / EU.

I’ve been waiting weeks for my order and today got a notification that after paying €5 delivery charge, I am now having to pay an additional almost 15€ Customs charge to receive my order.

It turns out after placing an order with a business based in ireland through an Irish web domain, that I’m getting goods sent to me from the UK at an additional expense. I am so annoyed at a such a disingenuous way to conduct business and recommend all EU customers avoid dealings with this company at all cost.
Update - after paying all these extra charges, the courier company got the item within 20km of my home and decided to return it to party city as ‘damaged’ - so all that extra cost for nothing. To give Party City their credit, they did refund me for the item when I contacted them. But the fiasco would put me off ordering here again, and I’m down the ‘customs’ charges
