Microsoft's Partner Center is a NIGHTMARE.

Everything about Microsoft's Partner Center is atrociously designed and managed. It is a bloated, uselessly fragile backend that triggers endless verification loops, requires numerous admin accounts with incredibly useless rules (not being able to rely on an info AT domain DOT com account because it has 'info' in the name when that is our core admin email address is beyond irritating), and is just overall an incredibly awful system. The partner user experience is so bad that I won't be releasing any more games on the Microsoft platform. Very impressive to turn people off of using a major distribution outlet for video game development so badly purely by having such a shit administrative backend. Any money we could make on the platform isn't worth the headache we experience trying to get our game live.

Terrible company

I was banned from the system without any justification. I spent six months struggling to get approval without ever using the service once. Now I face another six months trying to get my ban lifted, and they're telling me that if I pay $16,500 annually for support services, they'll help me. This system is absolutely ridiculous. When I was banned, I received no notification, no message, no email, nothing. I only got a response after submitting four support tickets. Now I suppose I'll need to submit another 50 tickets just to try to get my ban reversed. Microsoft is truly a terrible company

The worst support services I have ever…

The worst support services I have ever seen! Incompetent people that KNOW NOTHING at all and never ever can help you! However, they are champions of canned responses! Don't count on them to resolve any issues...

We are blocked since 3 weeks on the same so simple issue and all their support services can do is to send us the same canned response! Again and again! When you gently write them, it seems that you put your message in an enormous TRASH! You finally become rude... But the result remains almost the same : the same canned response + An additional canned response to remind you to keep calm :-D

And nobody can fix the issue even manually! You never write to the same person! Most of them are called "Pranav A" but this guy shouldn't exist! However, I think that the army of incompetent people behind him should be there to click on buttons!

Their stupid system is not even capable to verify a domain name ownership when you setup your account. Their UI is silent about root causes. I think that the people or the Artificial Dump that work for them don't even know what a BYTE means while they work for a supposedly software company!

Microsoft's modern day slavery model

I'm a Microsoft Partner so I work for free for Microsoft. I'm pretty much their modern day slave, no jokes. Despite giving them clients and saving them time, Microsoft has disabled my own benefits and services without saying a thing. They have made it impossible to sign up new clients with the correct currency. And because my business is not in America they will not assist with anything. Worst business ever!

THIEVES

Absolute complete and utter thieves. Admitted to a host of charges on my account being fraudulent, after SIX WEEKS of me fighting for them to look into it and having to hunt down the evidence myself!!! Allowed these fraudulent charges to be made using ONLY MY PHONE NUMBER! Which is disgusting in the first event, but after finally telling me they'd refunded me on 13th may I've now had to fight every day since to speak to anyone as that refund magically hasn't appeared in my account! I have emailed multiple times a day, requested callbacks every day which are always refused, spoken to a totally different " customer service " rep every day all of which say they will sort it to get me off the chat then do nothing, and now I've had to email the CEO!! How can such a huge global company get away with such shoddy customer service and such a lack of fraud prevention! It's a complete disgrace!

The verification team is dysfunctional…

The verification team is dysfunctional idi@@s that don't know how to verify an account or a domain associated with the owner, the partner interface is full of errors, the Azure services cost 10X compared if you get your own solution, and they charge even the free services, which they claim to be free. I will never use MS for anything, when you come across to know them better you realize they have incompetent staff to deal with minor things, I advise partnering with some other giants, if you become partner you bring them profit, you invest in certifications, etc, you are a first line customer, that you pay for everything overpriced, and they do not have a competent team to manage a simple domain verification, they can't compare the owner of a 12$ domain if is the same with the owner of a company, sending all the necessary documents.

Awful Developer Support

Awful customer support. Often ignore emails and questions raised in tickets. Have no accountability when raising complaints. Developer support is tedious and getting help with anything is near damn impossible. Wouldn't create anything for their store again. Still owed money from customers that they haven't paid out to me.
