In my book, 'Dangerous Enclosures' I often refer to 'Fate', how it somehow stepped in to give me safer options, another chance. The same miraculously is true about Parker Publishers. How did I find them? How did they find me? I was offered suggested publishers by friends, but it seems Parker Publishers found me! From my earliest contact with Betsy (my book manager), I found a friend. A true novice, I had no idea of what publishing entailed. Betsy, took time to explain in detail my options, drawing for me verbally and in writing what I could expect by using Parker Publishers. Being cautious, I ventured in, waiting for a catch but I'm happy to say there was 'Not Catch'! These past months, Betsy has entertained my thoughts, many changes on my part, always with these words: "No rush, take your time" which was quite comforting. In publishing, one ventures into a new world with unpublished book in hand. Betsy, whom I've never met led me through so many processes. I want to be especially mindful of my editor, Hazel! I once told Betsy that Hazel must be throwing darts at me from my frequent changes! Betsy assured me that was not the case. These two will be eternally etched in my exciting memories of getting 'Dangerous Enclosures" published.
So excited to see the website Parker Publishers created for my book! Unbelievable! Must be the best of any book yet (in my opinion). Can't wait to see how my book is hopefully accepted by the public.
