I really have tried to use Park Bikes

I really have tried to use Park Bikes, but they always have issues that I find insurmountable at the time. These events have happened over the past 2 years. I just felt it's time I let other's know.

1) I went to buy a bike and specified my requirements and was quite clear those were what I needed, yet they proceeded to try and sell me something unsuitable.

2) I had an accident covered by insurance and asked them for a quote to change all the components from the written off frame to a new one. They were all good about that until I mentioned insurance and then they said it would cost $200 for a quote.

3) I approached the physio/bike fitter with a referral from the Department of Veteran's Affairs for a bike fit. The physio refused to take on the work because of the paper work and because he felt he wouldn't get enough money for it. I found this disappointing because service personnel in many cases give up their health in order to keep this country free so business like theirs can make a profit, yet some companies fail to see this. I can get a good price for goods from USA based companies because of my service. It's sad that many Australian companies will take the benefits but not want to share just a little.

4) I've been in there another time asking for spokes. As expected they didn't have them, so they said they would order them, but never did.

I would like nothing better than to support a local business. I just can't reward this sort of poor service.
