RECEIVED A HALF DEAD PLANT AND TOLD I NEED TO WAIT FOR IT TO GO AGAIN!!! IF I WANTED A REFUND I NEED TO PAY THE POSTAGE EVEN THOUGH THE PLANT IS NOT GOOD QUALITY, HAVE QUESTIONED WHY I'M HAVING TO PAY THE POSTAGE TO DATE STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR USE THEM AGAIN!!
My wife ordered 3 alstroemeria on the 8th August 2022 and after 1 month nothing had arrived. I contacted them and a little later 2 plants arrived and we were shown that the money for the 3rd plant would be refunded. However no refund and no response to the e-mail. Won't be using this company again. Rip off.
I placed an order over a month ago and have not received anything. They said my plant was out of stock, even though it still said in stock on the website. I chose an alternative and have heard nothing since. I’ve now asked for a refund and still no reply. Avoid at all costs
I ordered two plants from Parigo Alstromeria (which appears to be part of Primrose Hall Peonies) after reading a recommendation by Robin Lane Fox in The FT Weekend. The two plants arrived today broken, totally dry, and half dead. One pf the plants was so badly damaged that I had to cut off the main stem. The reason I am leaving feedback here is that Parigo's customer service email account is blocked and there is no telephone number. I tried to ask Parigo Alstromeria for either a refund or replacements but they appear not to want to talk to customers.
I order plants online often from different nurseries. I've not had any problems so far. I'm shocked by the condition of the plants they sent to me. The person who packed them should have realised that they were not fit to be sold. It would have been better to tell me that they could not fulfil my order.
I realise that temperatures recently have been fierce. I also realise that it is impossible to control what happens to the plants after they leave the nursery. However, it is possible to pack them correctly to minimise water loss and damage during transit. This was not done.
My plants were packed in green plastic cladding that is too small for the pots. The box in which they were placed was much too tall. There was nothing to stop the plants being thrown about inside. There was also nothing to stop the plants drying out.
I regret that this has been a very unfortunate experience.
