When filling out the custom form for a person to person parcel (not a commercel transaction) to the UK , there is no guidance for the sender to let Customs know that there is no customs duty or tax necessary on this item. I ticked "personal item" but should have put "Value" as zero, I think. This error on my part cost me 65 euros and could have been avoided. I put the value of 300 euro with PM to secure the right insurance on my parcel. Parcel Monkey would not help me with this problem which I think is very wrong. Anyway I presume no one will read this.

If you are trying to set up a new password most sites have an option to see what yoiu have typed You dont and it caused me several minuters thyping and retyping

So disappointing Parcel Monkey......

I have used PM for the last two Christmases to send a parcel. Using the exact same location and destination and very similar packet dimensions, this year the Parcel Monkey site tells me they don't offer a service for this anymore. What the hey??

Warning: Your Parcel might get missing and Parcel monkey has no way to find it

Anyone wanting to use Parcel monkey, I advise you do not. I have had a terrible experience with them. I recently was advised to use a parcel company to send my luggages from France to Germany because the dimensions were too small to employ a moving truck. I went on parcel monkey as suggested by a friend and I booked the service of UPS via their site. Parcel Monkey arranged everything. The items were picked up on the expected day, this was in September 2023, alas 2 months later only 2 out of 6 luggages have arrived. 4 have been declared missing by Parcel monkey. Now this company is asking me to provide them with PROOF of value of the products in all the luggages, so they can reimburse me the cost. How am I supposed to provide the value of items that I have collected over the years? Some of these items are gifts with sentimental value, how do you provide proof for that? Their resolution method is crap, they do nothing, they can not guarantee you that your goods will arrive safely. If you ever feel like you have no option but to use them, pls avoid UPS. I do not know how items can be declared missing if someone did not steal them. Between these two companies, something is fishy.

Not up to usual standard!

Normal Parcel Monkey service is pretty good. This time it was a disaster. The UPS collection did not happen as arranged and when I was finally able to speak to a UPS representative, they said no collection had been arranged by PM! When I tried to arrange a collection oin the following day, UPS said I would have to pay for this service which I had already paid PM for. In the end I had to take to a collection point. Not Good

WARNING to all users of this site.
I recently sent a parcel to the US. I carefully measured and weighed the parcel and paid using PayPal. The package arrived safely within time.
A few weeks later I spotted a large withdrawal from my PayPal account by parcelmonkey.fr
I contacted them and complained to PayPal. They claim that I undermeasured my parcel and with no proof whatsoever took money from my account. PayPal has refused to refund me, even though I did not approve this payment.
This is a complete scam and shocking behaviour from both parcelmonkey.fr and from PayPal.

Very efficient and parcel delivered…

Very efficient and parcel delivered from France to UK in 3 days. Only giving a 4 instead of a five due to some of
the customs documents being missing and incorrect. Problem solved within a few hours of contacting support. Will use again.

Important information is missing!

I sent a parcel. I went to look for tracking information. NO WHERE could I find the information PM were asking for.

I was told on a chat that I should have made a note of the tracking information from the label that I put on the parcel!

So I asked can I get another label so I can do this?

Why do you want another label I was asked.

The INANE responses were ludicrous.

Eventually I was told that I would have to contact PM by phone or by the Chat window.
