A cautionary note
A cautionary note first. This company goes under multiple names. Trex Spiral Stairs, Paragon, SS Industries, etc. Don't be fooled. Original Spiral stair order went fairly well. I had to tap over 90 threads that had not been done, but I was ok doing that. I then ordered a rail for the well opening to match the stairs. What a mess. The product did not meet the measurements on the Docusign file. I figured I would deal with that and fill the gap with a wood extension and paint to match house. Then when installing the upper rail cap, I realized they had no thought on how that would happen at the 90 degree angle. One customer support agent said it should have had a miter cut on the ends. I was passed off to another customer support agent that just asked how long the parts were. I gave that information and no further contact from the company. I sent an email to the sales agent, customer support and several others that I had gathered during the honeymoon phase of ordering. Read receipt shows the email was read. My best guess is they are ghosting me since the real fix would require them to manufacture the part correctly and ship it. Having spent over $21,000 on stairs and railing, I feel dumped on. I hope I can still enjoy seeing those stairs every day. I'll be the one that has to come up with a solution. Learn from my experience, the honeymoon doesn't last long once the deal is done.
