Panda Drum Reviews 

The company addressed my concerns and bent over backward to make things right. They took every measure they could- I can't fault them at all. If you get their books keep in mind they will be ebooks, not physical.

I bought the Panda Drum as a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. She is hyperactive and needs to be “busy” constantly. She likes dancing and music so I thought I’d give it a try.
It arrived within a week and she immediately started to make music- one of the mallets broke within ten minutes! This resulted in a meltdown that lasted too long inspite of explaining that she could still make music with one stick! I’m sure her mom wanted to kill me, especially since I purchased it without her consent:(
Is there any way to replace the mallet? I saw her using it and her 35 lb self shouldn’t have caused it to break that easily/ quickly.
So, maybe the mallets aren’t designed for kids?

I absolutely love my Panda Drum. This company went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I cannot say enough good things!

The music supplied in the booklet wasn’t beginner lever. I would like to have received simple melodies to play on the drum. I cannot play any of the music provided not because I don’t know music but that I haven’t memorized the note placement on the drum. This takes a lot of practice time which I don’t have.

I received my Panda Drum and opened it today. The Center Tongue seems out of tune. All other pitches sound accurate and the overtones seem correct. However the middle F# has a dissonant sound when I strike it, no matter where I strike it.

Should I return it?
Can someone contact me please?

They are a little pricey but they also had a great sale going on. We got 2 pros. They came quick and in great shape, they sound amazing, and we are very pleased

We bought two,of the plus drums. One for me and for our grandson. He loves it. It helps him calm down when there are issues. Love the soothing sounds. Learning to get used to the music boom and sounds. Well made and easy to play anytime.

not what i expected. rubber on sticks came out as soon as my grandson started playing. I am not sure of the patterns that should be played to achieve its purpose. Overall not helping calming anyone.

I was playing my Panda and a great-grandmother who lives here had her two great grandchildren over for a minute. Next thing I know they are standing behind me, listening, I asked them if they wanted to try it, they both did. I had bought 3 Panda's cause my niece has a very hyper,and I mean very hyper child he's 5yrs old I think, so I was excited for him to check out his reaction, he wasn't moved a bit, just kept running around, wasn't even curious, so I told my sister, his grandma, we will try it again, but we will just play it and not ask him to try it next time, I think if we are enjoying it, it could draw him in. So it worked on two kids, but we need more time on my nephew, he's a hard case. I think it will win out in time.

I love my drum. However, I have one suggestion. I would like the music in the accompanying book to be in a larger print. It is much too small to read while playing.

I love my new drum. I originally got a mini, but two of the areas didn’t sound right. I contacted customer service to return the mini and upgrade to the next level drum. I was sent the wrong color and contacted customer service again. They were extremely helpful and friendly throughout this whole process. Wonderful to work with and great quality product.😃👍

I had given the two drums 🥁 to my grandkids for they have a little time focusing on anything and they love this!

Great melodic drums lived up and exceeded my expectations. When my grandsons start their play we all enjoy the tune.

I gifted my precocious six-year-old granddaughter the panda drum when we spent the day together last week. I took time to read all of the instructions to her. I looked at the attached song book and decided I would have to make my own simpler words and number musical staff for her to follow. I picked two songs that she’s familiar with, “Mary had a little lamb“ and “twinkle, twinkle little star“. I looked for YouTube’s through your site and was able to make my own cardboard prompt for her to follow. I wrote out the words to the song clearly, and then I added the numbers below the words that she was to play on the panda drum. She was able to follow along and spent at least 20 minutes, focusing on the two songs, and trying to learn to play them correctly. I even videotaped her while we did this so that she could have the instant gratification of seeing how her focus translated to a performance. 

We have not opened our drums yet. They are Christmas gifts.

I am not the least bit musically inclined but I love the tone and find it soothing and relaxing. I wish i had more time on the evenings to wind down with the drum. I am currently away on vacation & brought drum with me hopefully to spend more time experimenting!!

I usually have difficulty sleeping. I thought giving the Panda drum a try was worth the investment. It worked! As the former administrator for a daycare center, I was impressed with the information I read. I would have purchased 10, one for each classroom. My staff would have nominated me for sainthood 😍

I needed to correct some details the about the "ship to" address for my purchase, and I was already thinking oh-oh...! But to my joy, finding an understanding person (Sean) to communicate with was easy! I was kept apprised of the tracking information, step by step, and the drums arrived exactly when they were scheduled and in perfect condition! Flawless, smooth communications and careful handling! Plus, my grandchildren are LOVING the sounds they can make on these beautiful instruments.
