Palmetto Publishing and especially Anthony Ferrese, the team leader, and project manager, for my audiobook worked with me over a period of time to produce a project, which I feel very good about. It was not an easy project because it had words from a different language. They always were very professional and I highly recommend them for your projects.

I've been very pleased with the intelligence, good cheer, and encouraging words from Tony Ferrese and Brenna Gardner as they have led me through perfecting the manuscript and lining up materials for promotion. Getting this book done has been a long hard slog, and I was dismayed to find a lack of interest at university presses -- Routledge, Harvard, California -- that have published earlier books. But I'm now feeling lucky to have landed with Palmetto and have hopes that the marketing may exceed what I've experienced heretofore. My book is a straight-on scholarly study of the dispossession of the Apaches, read through the lens that Melville provides in his prophetic outcries against imperialism aggression against native peoples. It makes no direct mention of the current White House regime, but every reader can see the attack I'm making on the revival of America's anti-democratic tradition in contemporary politics. So I've taken pride in working with an outfit that takes pride in an ancestry that survived pressure from the Apartheid regime in South Africa. I take additional pride in your choosing Charleston as headquarters, where I have deep family roots. This journey has not of course reached its conclusion. But have confidence that further good things are to come.
