Found ideas for notification settings
Notification settings are weirdly hard to organize. Browsed Page Flows and saw how other apps group and phrase things. I did not copy anything directly, but it helped me rethink the layout.

Made me notice dark patterns

Scammy trial period
I canceled my subscription within the 3-day trial period, but I was still charged for a full 3-month subscription and my refund request was denied. On top of that, my access has now been deactivated.
This left me in an unacceptable position: Pageflows have kept my money and also cut off the service I paid for.

Don't follow their own terms of service & refund when requested.
I created an account with the three-day trial and, and unintended, I forgot about the three days. On the fourth day, I was charged for three months of service, which is already a mind-boggling amount of time for a service.
I emailed them immediately requesting a refund, which, according to their terms of service, you may do within seven days of your charge or first use of the site, which I was well within. After 11 days of emails back and forth, I still have yet to receive a refund, even with me providing my documentation of purchase and a copy of their terms of service showing their refund policy.
It got to the point where I told them that if they didn't issue the refund, I would go and inform the public of this, and they had yet to reply to me in more than 48 hours. So here we are.

I didn't expect it to be this clear.
I usually fumble when trying to plan a new site. PageFlows showed me actual steps other sites take, which made the process less intimidating. I didn't feel lost like usual.
